I was sent to the antique stores to see if I could find any appropriate furnishings for the new house, and this is what I came back with:

Never send a geek to do a man's job, that's my motto. Rocketeer's motto of course is "Quit lookin' at me before I blast your face in with jet exhaust." Or something like that.
Sadly, while totally cool and a great find that I definitely love, this particular action figure moves only at the head, waist, and upper arm. He also can't stand up on his own, presumably from the after-effects of a long night drinking with Betty. Not that I blame him.
If you've got a photo of an action figure or other toy on your desk that you love, by all means post it in the comments, it'd be great for everyone to see!
THE ROCKETEER! I love the rocketeer, i would pay for that too.

I also forgot my luke skywalker unleashed hoth edition figure(hand me down)
That Rocketeer is awesome.
My desk is cluttered mostly with old college texts, dictionaries, and long outdated programming books.
However, I ate enough Cap’n Crunch to get this guy for my co-pilot:

If you see a reflection i was sitting and those were my knees.
No desk, but I have been building a collection of Mr. Potato Heads, among other things. Here’s a picture I took a while back.

I wish I still had my setup. I had all manner of desktop toys at one of my last jobs. This thread makes me wish I had taken a picture.
I had the dark side and light side of the force represented equally (for proper geek shui) and most importantly … I had lego ninjas battling lego samurai across the top of my monitor (okay so that dates that particular job a little).
It’s hard to be taken seriously in computer support if your desk can’t be mistaken for an FAO Schwarz 🙂
For my claim at ultimate geekdom, here go a few pictures of models I MADE from templates found on the internet.

Once upon a time, this was our guest room:

@ X-stacy……..HOLY SHIT…..
ajw (1): Those are great! I tried my hand at kit-bashing a few years ago and it was really hard, I am very impressed with your guys. I think I also have that Green Arrow figure, too.
Punk (3): Love the tiger! I had a stuffed Tigger when I was a kid that I carried around so much, the stuffing got squeezed out of his neck and he was all floppy-headed. What a great toy that was.
Myro (5): Hilarious! I think goggle-eyed Storm Troopers would be great for the next movie.
X-Stacy (8): Wow. I bow in submission to your vastly superior nerd-fu.
Worf (7): Love ’em! Are those made out of paper or what? They look great.
@Jeff: Yep. Paper and glue… and lots of time 😉
Thanks for the compliments I love making up heroes but I cant make them all at 11 inch scale, trust me I would.
