META: Time suckage, DA:O version

I am hooked on Dragon Age: Origins for the PS3. All other life has been shoved to the corners, madly scrambling for its fair share of my time and focus. Haven't showered for days ... eyes blurry ... theme music running constantly in my head ... starting to ... twitch ... getting ... weaker ...

(Still working on female items, yes, never fear, but the demons must be fed ...)

Heh. That’s how I was when Diablo II came out years ago.

I took Borderlands over DA:O. I have no regrets.

Borderlands is, like, the manliest game on Earth.

    Know what you mean!

I just started playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and I’m hooked.

Oh yeah, Oblivion was my last game addiction. Great game. So far DA:O is similar in some ways, but more focused. I tended to kind of get lost in Oblivion, and to feel like I was wandering around alone. The companions and dialog and tighter-packed world of DA:O has avoided that for the most part so far.

Loved Oblivion, though, it’s a ton of fun.

I’ve been alternating between champions online, DAO, left 4 dead 2 , and Borderlands. IN DAO i chose a dalish elf warrior. Just got through with the mage tower and am now returning to redcliffe. No idea how far ive got to go yet.

You have a looong ways to go, this thing goes on forever …
