    But in a tragic twist of fate, as the would-be scientist turns away to inspect a beaker, a delicate hand reaches out for the ‘interesting’ rotting fruit. The hungry girl gives it a bite and ———-> mutates into PENNICILLA, MALEVOLENT MISTRESS OF MUTANT MARTIAN MOLD!!!

    So, I take it he’s knowingly eaten moldy fruit before then? I can only wonder what caught his eye about this mold in particular: shape, color, scent? 🙂
