    I never watched Star Trek, my bad.

    Anywho! The day is upon us!

    And I have decided I shall judge these fine works of glorious art upon the following criteria!

    1. Composition: The overall quality of the style/technique used in the piece. 2 points!

    2. Element Composition: How well the items were used/fit in to the piece. 3 points!

    3. Creativity: How well the items were MISUSED in the piece. 3 points!

    4. Aesthetics: Which piece I think just has the better overall finished product. 1 point!

    … but I shall wait a lil bit longer to see if we have any last minute entries cuz, at least in my timezone, the day is till young. Hah! I’m such a tease! ;D

    Thanx for the positive feedback yall!

    Tho can someone tell me wth a “power user” is? lol

    In the meantime, here’s a refab of my first piece. Tried to sorta invert the whole “highlight” technique n do a backlit effect. It… sorta worked? Iunno, you tell me:

    Unbidden, her hand rose to gently touch a dangling earring. They had been a present from her husband, their first Christmas together. She’d worn them every year since. Christmas was her favorite holiday and this evening and tonight and tomorrow she would celebrate; she’d have toys to give the grandchildren, clothes to give the children, and each of every one of the five courses she’d serve would be fit to feed them all. For now though… he always gave her roses, so it seemed apropos to return the gesture now;

    “Merry Christmas, my love. I miss you.”

    Beard and mask are used to make the earring. Scarf is used to do the wrinkles around the eyes and on the neck.
