Nobody is really sure why Melisa Meier quit Strike Force, whether or not she had grown tired of heroics or if it was some other reason more connected to the team. What we do know is that she kept her Valkyrie armor and never stopped tinkering with it and modifying it, until it couldn’t even be decribed as the same armor anymore. She has since returned to heroics, under the name Paladin, battling and defeating Man Mountain (a notoriously fearsome foe) single-handedly. Though Strike Force reached out to her with an offer to rejoin the team, they were rebuked and Meier continues as a solo hero.

    Thanks guys.

Anyway switching back to SRC themed stuff for a moment and things are about to get eldritch.

There are some creatures, known only to man as The Great Old Ones, that are so incomprehensable in their power and being that they inspire madness in all that gaze upon them. But as powerful as these Great Old Ones are, The Outer Gods are to them as they are to us, creatures of such cosmic magnitude and eldritch power that all they are seems as chaos.
    From Left to Right:
Azathoth: The “Blind Idiot God”. Though he has eyes and they are always open, he cannot see, not with his external eyes anyway. He lives beyond time and space and sight and sound, kept asleep by the pipes and drums of many servitors. All of reality is Azathoths dream and nobody knows what would happen should he ever wake, or if he is in control of the dream in the first place, one presumes not. He is the most powerful of the many Outer Gods and sire to most.
Nyarlathotep: Known by many names, as befits one called “the God Of A Thousand Forms”, he is also heralded as “the Crawling Chaos”, “the Black Pharaoh”, “Stalker Among The Stars” and “the Messenger Of The Outer Gods”.  Nyarlathotep is one of the few Outer Gods to interact with the lower beings, whether he is the only one who chooses to or the only one able to is not known. Son (for all familial phrases mean to gods such as these) of Azathoth, he is a cruel god, mocking and delighting in the madness of mortals and immortals alike. He revels in displaying his proficiency in horror, going to great lengths to make his acts comprehensible to lower beings before escalation to higher and higher plains of reality as if he were a surgeon striping away layers of sanity as one would remove the wrapping from a wound. Still, he seems to play a much greater role than just his own pleasure, serving as an attendant to the cults of his fellows and ensuring their will, as it is for such beings, is adheared to.

Shub-Niggurath: The “Mother of A Thousand Young” and daughter of Azathoth, Shub-Niggurath also takes many forms, though unlike her brother she rarely takes form to commune with lesser beings. She spawned many of The Great Old Ones and is in an almost constant state of what can best be described as pregnacy (again, for what such words can be attributed to such beings as they do not reproduce in a way that could be conceivable to our minds).

The Great Old Ones are beings of great power, such power that their actions and motives are often inconcievable to the mere mortals that they effect. Descendants of The Outer Gods, they once presided over the world of mortals. No-ne knows what caused them to give up their control, whether they did so willingly or where forced (and, if that is the case, what could force them to do so), but many now sleep either within the earth, make their homes in the deepest reaches of the galaxy or, more terrifyingly, make thier homes within the minds of man.
Nug & Yeb: The siblings, born of Shub-Niggurath, they in turn bore many of the other Great Old Ones and are amongst the most worshiped of all of the eldritch. It is said that they will clear the Earth for the return of their kin using “The Furnace of Yeb” and “The Torch Of Nug”, though these items are shrowded in mystery.
Cthulhu: The spawn of Nug, Cthulhu is a terrible creature of the nightmares of man. It is said that he knows all that was occuring in the universe and moulded the dreams of the earliest humans. His cult was the most powerful in the ancient world and at its peak, they ruled over the island city of R’lyeh, before it was sunk beneath the waves. It is believed that Cthulhu was trapped as his city sank and that he is still there, imprisoned in a deep tomb along with the people he ruled. Others say he escaped, no-one knows for sure. But what we do know is that the cult of Cthulhu did not die with R’lyeh, it lives on, awaiting the return of their master.
Tsathoggua: The spawn of Yeb, Tsathoggua takes the form of a monsterous fur-covered black toad. A deity of sloth and gluttony, Tsathoggua would not move from the spot he resides unless mortally threatened, not even to satiate his ravenous hunger. Instead he waits, in a state of torpor and eats any who come close, before returning to his slumber. He is attended by a race known as the Formless Spawn, a gestalt of black slime that is surprisingly resiliant and resourceful, a fittingly squalid servant for a being such as Tsathoggua.

Dagon: Though Dagon is considered a Great Old One, his origins are not of the Outer Gods, at least not directly. Once one of The Deep Ones, a race of aquatic humanoids possibly created by the Outer Gods, he discovered a child of Cthulhu and gained great power from it (although the specifics are unknown). He grew large, even for a Deep One who grow massive as they age, and his power grew too. He became a figure of worship amongst other Deep Ones and even humans (he is mentioned as a fishing god in Mesopotamian scripts, he is noted as being worshipped by the Phillistines and, like Cthulhu, his cult still goes strong today). Most Deep Ones of today are descended from Dagon and he remains one of the few active Great Old Ones.

    Name: Victoria “Tori” Lannock
    Codename: Amazon
Powers: Superhuman Strength (100x normal human limit), enhanced healing capabilities
Bio: Tori Lannock has heroics in her blood. Her father, Matt Lannock, was an original member of The Protectors as the hero Goliath Man, using a strength enhancing serum of his own creation. After The Protectors originally disbanded, Tori joined her father as his side-kick, taking on the name Goliath Girl. However, being a superhero can’t last forever and fortunately Matt Lannock did get to hang up his costume and retire, unlike many of his contemporaries. This hiatus from heroics also meant Tori had to give up her crimefighting, but she took it as an opportunity. She went to university and got herself a masters degree in bio-chemistry and was later able to recreate and refine her fathers formula. She returned to heroics under the new name Amazon and became one of the most well recognised heroes on the scene. Eventually she was asked to join a new iteration of The Protectors and jumped at the chance.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Tori is somewhat clumsy and often underestimates her own strength in everyday situations, whether it be accidentally ripping doors off hinges when trying to open them or a playful pat on the back sending someone flying through a wall.
    – One might expect Tori to be a purely brute strength fighter considering how strong she is, but she has a black belt in judo to back up her power.
    – Tori really loves romantic movies, especially rom-coms. Her favourites are the Bridget Jones series, Love Actually and When Harry Met Sally.
    – Her other big love is sports. When she was a kid, she’d always watch whatever sport was on with her Dad. At a young age she wanted to be a soccer star when she grew up, but she didn’t have the aptitude for it.
    – Despite not needing to (due to the serum that gave her super-human strength never wearing off), Tori still works out. Even the gym at The Protectors HQ had to be re-fitted to accomidate this. Tori has secretly admitted in private that she only does it to show off, she was a pretty scrawny kid before becoming a superhero and she just kinda likes the attention her strength brings her, even if she has had to put a few people in their place for being rather rude about her size and appearance.

    Name: Maria Langley
    Codename: Andromeda
    Powers: Flight, Cosmic Energy Projection
Bio: One of two superhuman daughters born to a small town store owner, Maria was always very down to Earth and kind, a trait which carried on through to her days as a superhero. An original member of The Protectors, she was a beloved member of the superhero community and one of the most popular members of the team with the public, something which confused Maria and left her somewhat intimidated, not being used to so much attention. However, she went missing after The Protectors last mission. Presuming Maria to be dead, the team split up in the aftermath. However, Maria wasn’t dead, she had somehow been transorted across space. Gaining a new perspective on life after her travels in space, as well as a buff to her existing powers, Maria returned to Earth and helped form a new iteration of The Protectors.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Maria’s younger sister Casey went on to become the hero Impact under the tutelage of Maria’s former Protectors team-mate Paragon. Casey would eventually inherit Paragon’s powers and name on her mentors death at the hands of the galactic tyrant Omnion.
    – During her time in the original incarnation of The Protectors, Maria started dating her team-mate The Titan, James Rush. Their relationship came to an unofficial end when Maria went missing, though since her return they have tried to rekindle that spark that they had originally.
    – Maria can play the piano. She took classes as a child, but never really viewed it as much more than a hobby. She still likes to play, but gets embarrassed when playing in front of other people. According to The Titan, she also has a lovely singing voice as well, but she is even more reluctant to show that off than she is her piano playing.
    – She loves dogs. Her family had two labradors when she was a child, named Buddy and Rolo.

    – She keeps a small chunk of moon rock with her at all times as a good luck charm. On her way home from space she stopped off on the moon to look at the Earth and decided to take a little bit of outer-space home with her, to remind her of how small yet beautiful our planet is and how it felt viewing it from space.

    Name: Angella Jacobson
    Codename: Angel
Powers: Alien Physiology- Ability to breath in airless environments, High resistance to pressure disparity, Superhuman Strength, Extreme Resiliance to Damage, Superhuman Reflexes. Power Harness Assisted Flight
Bio: The child of an alien warrior and a human woman, Angella inherited a lot of her fathers natural abilities, as well as a fair amount of alien tech. As a child she was forced to hide her powers, for fear of the governement or a corperation finding out and taking her away to be experimented on, but as she grew older she found it harder and harder to hide them. She eventually was forced to go public when she managed to rescue an entire sites worth of workers in the aftermath of an industrial accident in a building site in her home town. She has since started using some of her fathers equipment, most notably a power harness that allows her to fly and two laser blade gauntlets, to help with her heroics and was invited to join The Protectors fairly early on in her career.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Angella grew up without knowing her father and all she or her mother knows about what happened to him is that he left to go back to space. It is unknown what species he was or what planet he came from, as no species documented have the genetic signature or abilities that Angella displays.
    – She discovered that she could survive without oxygen when she was 6 years old. Her mother took her to the beach and she got swept out to sea. Fortunately, after being sumerged for around 10 minutes, she was wash back to shore none the worse for wear. Of course, she was less phased by the incident than her mother was, who was in hysterics when they were final reunited.
    – Despite her beach experiance as a child, Angella loves swimming, probably because she can stay underwater for as long as she wants. She prefers swimming in open water as opposed to pools, she says its because she likes the fish.
    – She has the biggest collection of shoes out of any of the girls in The Protectors and she loves jewelery with sapphires on.

    – Angella was actually the second choice for her spot on The Protectors team. The first choice, the French superheroine Terre, turned down the invitation, so Angella was contacted instead. Terre would eventually go on to become the supervillain Gravité, so it was probably for the best that Angella joined instead.

    Name: Luis Deacon
    Codename: Catalyst
    Powers: Energy Conversion
Bio: Luis Deacon was born with the ability to psychokinetically manipulate the energy within objects, for example he could transfer the heat energy in a hot pan to kinetic energy, causing the pan to immediately cool and fly away. This would often have an unfortunate side-effect if Luis was not paying attention to the type of energy he was transfering, things invariably ended up exploding or just bursting into flames. This has come back to haunt him in the past. A frequent victim of what could most charitably be described as bullying (and what could less charitably be described as racist abuse) throughout his childhood, Luis was involved in an incident that led to both the discovery of his powers and the hospitalisation of three of his bullies. Unfortunately, this made things worse. Now with pretty much his entire town knowing about his powers and what he did, he became ostracized and the victim of greater abuse, even into his adulthood. This eventually culminated in a confrontation with some highly drunken frat kids who were trying to run him out of town. The situation quickly got violent and, without thinking, Luis used his powers to defend himself. He was fortunate to avoid prison time, but his actions did attract some attention within the superhuman community. One such person to take notice was The Titan (formerly of the original Protectors), another superhuman with energy based powers, who offered to train Luis in how to control his powers. The two became quite a team and, when The Titan decided to form a new iteration of The Protectors, Luis was one of the first to join.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Luis has Caribbean heritage, as his maternal grandparents emigrated from Antigua about 2 years before Luis’ mother was born. He’s never been to Antigua but it is one of his life goals to visit the village his grandparents were born in.
    – He’s a fantastic cook. He learnt a lot from his grandmother and, as should come as no surprise, his best dishes all have a caribbean flare to them, including a mean spiced lamb stew.
    – Luis is highly religious, his family always went to Sunday service when he was a kid and he tries to attend services whenever possible. One of his cousins married a preacher and he’ll often turn to them for advice if he ever feels unsure about what course of action he should take.
    – His parents have always been very supportive of Luis’ superheroic activities and have essentially extended family privilages to all of his team-mates, including invites to family barbecues, any holiday events and they all get Christmas and Birthday cards each year. Luis’ parents are also petitioning the mayor of their city to give Luis the key to the city, though they havem’t heard back yet.

    – Luis is a history buff and loves any tv show on history, especially if it’s about the Ancient Greeks or the Roman Empire.

    Name: Megan Harris
    Codename: Copy Cat
Powers: Power Mimicry, Innate Ability (Permenantly Copied Power), Enhanced Healing Factor (Permenantly Copied Power)
Bio: The youngest member of the frontline Protectors team, Megan Harris was born with the ability to copy the superpowers of other people. This can be temporary or permenant, depending on the circumstances of the copy. Generally, she can copy any power from any superhuman within a 10 metre radius, either their entire power set or a specific power if she needs/ wants a specific one. However, copying from a distance is only temporary and will only last for an hour tops if she should move further away from the target of her copy. For a permenant copy, she has to have unbroken skin-on-skin contact with the target for, at a minimum, a full minute to 5 minutes, depending on the complexity of the power set she is trying to copy. Early on in her superhero career her copying powers she wasn’t used to led to quite a few mishaps, but since she joined The Protectors she has managed to copy Innate Ability as a power, meaning she can instantly understand and control any power she copies.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Megan only discovered her power in her late teens, due to the relative scarcity of superhumans she only came across another whilst on holiday with her friends. Unfortunately, the powers set she accidentally copied to discover her own power was that of a pyrokinetic and, not being used to the power, she spontaneously combusted. Fortunately, part of the powers she copied was immunity to being burned and the superhuman she copied was able to stop the fire, but it did leave Megan a slight bit traumatized.
    – Megan is really good friends with Leigh Walker, one of a pair of superhero twins. They’ll often meet up for coffee, cataclysmic events and supervillain world take over attempts permiting of course. It was from Leigh that Megan copied her Healing Factor. As for her Innate Ability, Megan copied that from The Protectors tech-support guy, Gideon Mantel.
    – Before she copied Gideon’s Innate Ability, Megan had the unfortunate hait of accidentally copying her team-mates powers at random if she wasn’t paying attention. This has led to accidentally blowing up a kettle by copying Catalyst or destroying the clothes she was wearing when copying Amazon. The line was drawn when she copied Mr. Mass and grew to the size of a 3 story building… whilst inside. Fortunately, since gaining Innate Ability, these accidents do seem to have subsided.
    – She’s a cat person (if it wasn’t obvious by her codename).

    – She grew up idolizing the original Protectors team, watching every news report or TV special on their heroic deeds. When she discovered she had powers she lept at the chance to emulate her idols and when The Titan asked her to join the new team, it was a dream come true. The first thing she did upon arriving at Protectors HQ was ask Andromeda for her autograph. It was kinda awkward.

    Name: Thomas Hall
    Codename: Dynamo
    Powers: Electricity Absorption, Super Speed
Bio: Born with the ability to absorb electricity and covert it into superhuman speed, Thomas Hall originally wanted nothing to do with heroics. He didn’t even play sports at High School, partially because he didn’t want to be considered a cheat and mostly because he didn’t really care. He just wanted to make people laugh, not impress them with his powers. However, one day that all changed. After doing a try out gig at a local comedy club, Thomas and his boyfriend were taking a short cut home when they were the victims of a targeted hate crime. Their attackers used weapons. Thomas managed to get away, his boyfriend didn’t. That night, Thomas used his powers in anger for the first time, absorbing the electricity from all of the surrounding street lights and taking out the attackers in less time than it would take to blink. But he couldn’t bring himself to get revenge. Instead he handed the attackers over to the police and dedicated himself to using his powers to help others. This would eventually lead him to joining The Protectors upon the formation of the second incarnation of the team.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Thomas’ theoretical top speed cannot be calculated as it is risky to test how much electricity he can absorb before suffering any negative effects, but projections do put his max at around 700-800 mph or 300-350 metres per second, though these are (by nature) inaccurate and his top speed could be even more.
    – Thomas actually approached The Titan about joining The Protectors, rather than the other way round. He found out about The Protectors reforming from Lucina Stamford, a former supervillain turned cafe owner/ info dealer, and decided to try his luck.
    – He’s a big gamer. He can often be found playing online whenever not on duty, alongside some of his team-mates, most often Luis Deacon (Catalyst), Michael Barnes (Watchman), Megan Harris (Copy Cat) and one of the teams tech supports Jamie Walters.
    – He’s terrified of spiders.

    – He’s massively into geek culture. When he was a teen he was really into LARPing and cosplaying at conventions, he knows how to sew and make costumes (which really helped when he decided to become a superhero) and he still meets up with a couple of friends every week to play DnD. They’ve tried to get him to introduce them to other members of the team, but that got shut down pretty quickly by The Titan.

    Name: Oscar Campos
    Codename: Magnetico
    Powers: Magnetism Manipulation
Bio: Born in Brazil, Oscar’s family emigrated when he was very young due to his fathers work, Oscar had to deal with a fair amount of rubbish growing up, whether it was his poor English in school, his accent or his immigrant background. However, during his teenage years, he developed into something of a heart-throb and his confidence was boosted even further by the discovery of his power to manipulate the magnetic field of metal objects. He was somewhat of a showoff and, unfortunately, a bully. He became a superhero just for the attention and, for a time, he was on top of the world. Then he got his ass handed to him by Man Mountain. There isn’t any shame in such a defeat, even the strongest heroes struggle against the giant, but it sent Oscar into something of a slump. Fortunately, his family was there to get him back on his feet. Realising he’d not been taking his role as a superhero seriously, Oscar started to put in extra effort, learning new things about his powers and going out of his way to find new situations to test himself. Though he still hasn’t had his rematch against Man Mountain, his new found dedication did catch the eye of The Titan, who recruited him to be part of the new Protectors team.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Oscar is tri-lingual, being able to speak Portuguese (Brazilian-Portuguese), English and Spanish.
    – He’s the “social media star” of The Protectors, having more followers than even Superstar (not that she particularly uses social media much, but her old accounts still have a fair few followers). He’s always updating his fans on what he’s doing when not out being a superhero. Of course, some of his followers are watching him for reasons other than fandom, as he found out when his home got invaded by a load of hired thugs. It doesn’t stop him posting though, but he is a bit more careful about giving away his location now.
    – One of his lifes ambitions is to lift a cruise ship using his powers. For some reason, every cruise company has turned down his advances.
    – Oscar is the youngest of 3 children. He has 2 sisters, the elder of whom is a nurse and the other is a primary school teacher.

    – Despite the fact he has quite a lot of attention from his female fans, Oscar is still with his high school sweetheart and got engaged shortly after joining The Protectors. Of course, pictures of the proposal went straight on his social media, which was a bad move because it meant his fiancé had to then leave social media due to some scary fans.

    Name: Farah Al-Masur
    Codename: Manara
    Powers: Heat Manipulation
Bio: The daughter of Syrian immigrants, Farah was born after her family had already left their home country, though her family went back often on holidays to visit family still in Syria. It was on one such holiday in 2011 that the family got caught up in the start of the Syrian Civil War. Farah and her father managed to make it out, but her mother and brother were both killed, alongside her grandmother and one of her uncles. It was during this time that her powers awoke, which didn’t help her mental state and she became more and more unstable, until she lost control. Fortunately, she was talked down by her father and some close friends. It took some time, but she has learnt to control her powers and is using them to help others and try to aid in improving the public image of Islam in the west. Of course, this did not go unnoticed and an invitation to join The Protectors was not far behind.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Farah is a Muslim and follows the Sunni branch of Islam. She is also a lesbian. At first she tried to hide this fact from her family, though she did come out to her father after her mothers death. Much to her relief he was accepting of his daughters sexuality and he encouraged her not to hide it and to be a role model, not just to muslims, but to any lgbt youth from minority backgrounds.
    – Farah is another member of the team who is a foodie and a good cook. Unlike Luis though, Farah is a vegan and her cooking reflects that. There is something of a friendly rivalry between the two when it comes to cooking and they are forever trying to outdo each other. Not that their team-mates mind too much, they’re generally the judges and that just means amazing food for everyone.
    – She studied politics at university and says she probably would have gone into politics if she hadn’t become a superhero. She’s always very knowledgable about current events and does get a bit annoyed if people don’t take it as seriously as she does.
    – You wouldn’t think it, but Farah is a secret metal-head. She had a friend teach her how to play bass just so she could join a band in high-school for a battle of the bands contest. They didn’t win, but she had so much fun. She’s a bit rusty nowadays unfortunately.

    – Farah loves tea. Like, to an insane degree. Some members of the team (not naming names, but it’s definately Oscar) have even said that she’s probably addicted. She had entire cupboards full of different varieties and drinks them depending on mood, what time it is of what day and what the weather is like. She’ll drink it cold, hot, with or without milk (soya, obviously) or sugar. Black, white, green, oolong, jasmine, you name it, she drinks it.

    Name: Adam Bateman
    Codename: Mr. Mass
    Powers: Size Manipulation
Bio: An expert in nanotechnology, Adam Bateman worked under contract for the military as part of a team trying to create a method of shrinking equipment in size and mass for easy transportation. After nearly a decades worth of work, the team had managed to create an unstable substance infused with nanites that could, theoretically, be coated onto equipment and that would shrink it in reaction to a certain audio frequency. However, before any proper test trials could be carried out and accident in the lab caused a fire that destroyed most of the research. Bateman tried, rather recklessly, to save his research, but the heat caused it to literally blow up in his face, dousing him in the substance, causing him to inhale its fumes and leaving him with some rather nasty injuries. However, whilst Bateman was in hospital recovering, he found that the substance had been absorbed into his body thanks to the nanites. He was now able to shrink or grow to different sizes by listening to different, almost inaudible frequencies through a headset. Unfortunately, due to the accident his funding was cut off by the military, leaving Bateman stuggling to find a source of income to finish his projects. But he didn’t let his new abilities go to waste. He decided to use his newly acquired powers to essentially advertise himself to any prospective backers. The plan didn’t go exactly as he wanted, but he did get enough attention to recieve an invitation to join The Protectors.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – He holds 6 masters degrees in subjects ranging from physics to mechanical engineering and has published 2 research papers, as well as giving numerous guest lectures at a number of prestigious universities.
    – He’s something of an amatuer paleontologist and likes to collects fossils. His holidays will often be spent in places known for being rich bone-beds. He’s also managed to leverage his academic credentials to get onto one or two digs for a day.
    – He’s named after Adam West. His parents were big fans of a certain 60’s superhero TV show, even though he was born a good decade after it was on the air.
    – He’s partially deaf in his left ear, due to the accident that gave him his powers. Unfortunately, he only created nanites for size manipulation rather than for injury repair.

    – His favourite movie is Ghostbusters. He really relates to Harold Ramis’ character Egon Spengler.

    Name: Lucy Falkner
    Codename: Superstar
    Powers: Flight, Superstrength, Energy Projection
Bio: As a teenager, Lucy Falkner came across the wreckage of a crashed alien spacecraft. Unfortunately, the crafts engines were very badly damaged and it imploded, but not before Lucy was showered in a strange radiation. She was unharmed by the experiance, other than a few cuts and bruises escaping from the blast radius, but the radation had contaminated her system and given her the ability to fly and to control background cosmic radiation, even to project it in energy blasts. When her father, a failing publicist and PR man, found out, he saw an opportunity to get rich by turning his daughter into a work for hire superhero. Very quickly Lucy, under the pseudonym Star-Girl, became a bonefide celebrity and one of the most high profile superhumans on the planet, but she didn’t see much rewards from it. Her father took a large percentage of the profit, forcing Lucy to live off of an allowance and controlling every aspect of her life, from what she ate to who she was friends with. Lucy managed to find her way out of her fathers control when he began to get physical in his control of her life, taking him to court and making her identity public in the process. Though she did take a break from heroics in the aftermath of winning the court case, she found that she couldn’t live a peaceful life outside of the public eye anymore. Beyond that, she struggled to stop herself falling back into being a superhero, though at least she had control over what she did with her life now. When she was first approached by The Titan to join The Protectors, Lucy turned him down, feeling a team would restrict her freedom that she had fought so hard to achieve. However, as more and more of her friends joined as members, Lucy started to come round and would eventually join.
    Random Extra Facts:
    – Lucy is bisexual, but was forced to hide that fact when she was working for her father. In fact, he wouldn’t let her see any guys romantically, let alone any girls, trying to keep her public appearance as “wholesome” as possible.
    – As Star-Girl, Lucy had long, bleached blonde hair (again enforced by her father, blondes are more marketable), which she absolutely hated. As soon as she was free from her father she cut it all off. She nearly went as far as shaving her head, but fortunately thought the better of it. All of the piercings she has are also post Star-Girl, as is the tattoo (which references her new superhero name, Superstar, a sarcastic nod to her previous “celebrity superhero” life). Also, she had to wear contact lenses all the time as Star-Girl and they were forever falling out. She much prefers the goggles she has currently.
    – Though she didn’t see the majority of the money she earned as a work-for-hire superhero, her fees were such that the allowance she did get, plus the winnings from her court case against her father, was substantial enough to make Lucy a multi-millionaire in her early twenties. Though Lucy does still use her money for herself (she has a very nice and very large house, as well as an expensive car), most of her fortune has gone to the victims of superhuman crime and various global disaster relief funds.
    – Being one of the most high profile superheroes before joining The Protectors, Lucy knew pretty much everyone on the team before joining (the exceptions being Andromeda, who went missing before Lucy became a hero, and The Watchman, who only recently took over the role from his predecessor). Outside of The Protectors, she is very close friends to Lance and Leigh Walker, who, in their civilian roles, provided Lucy with legal counsil during her court battle.

    – Lucy is a very poor drunk. It doesn’t take much to get her wasted and when she is she can be all over the place. As one might expect, the first few months of freedom were wild, and publicly so, with the police having to get involved in one particularly raucous house party. Luckily though, Lucy did have a few good friends to help reign her in and get her back on the straight and narrow.
