VILLAINS!
Let’s give the bad guys/gals the spotlight. This week’s challenge will be to design a villain that looks to conquer all.
Enter as often as you like. Rules for posts, contests, and challenges: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games.
- No copyrighted characters please – they will be deleted. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way.
- Please keep all submissions PG13: full or partial nudity is prohibited.
- We have the right to delete any post that we believe crosses this line without warning.
- Only post characters that have been created solely using HeroMachine, and that you know for certain have never been entered in a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because we're not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
- All entries must be in JPG or PNG (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like http://www.heromachine.com/forum, Image Shack, Deviant Art or whatever) Do not use Photobucket<.
- Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name.
- Please make the link go directly to the image and not to a hosting jump page.
This challenge will close at 6 pm on Sunday, November 27th. I will be judging this contest and the winner chosen by me (Andrew Smith). Winning entry will be awarded a character concept reinterpreted by me that is/was created and chosen by the winning artist.

Dalgos Virzu’ud is a shadow demon of the realm of Ostwyn. He became the general of the Shadow Legion, but proved to the council that he was too reckless and barbaric to lead. So they banished him to the In-Between, a formless world that connects all realms and dimensions.
Years passed. Through an accident, his mind came into contact with a human in the realm of Earth who was dying. A deal was made, and Dalgos possessed his body, giving him new life. In return for keeping him alive, this man had to allow Dalgos to take control, come out, and begin his scheme.
Dalgos began building an army. In addition to human hires, he began mixing demon magic with human science to create superpowers. Weapons. But all of these smaller goals are nothing in comparison to his ultimate goal. Once his machine is finished, he will summon the Ozrokon, a deformed legion of demons from Ostwyn with the power to reshape matter. Dalgos plans to use them to shape Earth in his own image and create a new race of demons. And when he’s done he will use them to invade Ostwyn and destroy the ones who banished him, making him ruler of both realms.

Red Malice is considered to be the most dangerous supervillain in the United States. It is not because he is powerful, in fact his powers are not very impressive. Instead, it is because of his feats and his mind. He has a near genius-level intellect and is extremely cold and calculating. In addition, his main business is in human experimentation. It is estimated by the Department of Superhuman Affairs and the Department of Defense that his experiments created around 30% of supervillains in the country. Nobody knows why he has been building an army.
For his powers, Red Malice has some kind of heightened strength and a limited healing factor. He also has the ability to summon an array of weapons from a pocket dimension known as The Vault. His weapon of choice is a large double-ended axe. His fighting skill is incredible, and he has taken down superhero teams singlehandedly with relative ease.
As stated, nobody knows what his goal is, but many speculate he desires to control the entire market of supervillains and remove all superheroes, linking everything to himself.
