I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

    Real Name: Deinomache
    Alias: Deinol Match
Powers, Abilities, Weapons: Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Durability, Amazon Training, Magical Halberd, Shield.
Origin: With her name meaning terrible warrior, she was the worst warrior among the amazons and was exiled for her poor abilities and skills and found her way to man’s world. In order to grow stronger she joined a military unit unfortunately it was a rebellion resistance unit in a war torn dictator control country. Now she has to learn how to fight in order to fight for freedom.

Here is my version of Melanippe:

The 21st century has been kind to Melanippe. Her name translates to “black mare,” and her namesake horse has been upgraded to a powerful motorcycle. Her spearhead is now a construct of pure energy, guaranteeing that it will never dull nor be deflected in battle.

    Effat, Shujaa wa Dhahabu:
    https://www.deviantart.com/mrlm32/art/Effat-Shujaa-wa-Dhahabu-Hero-of-Gold-837783570

Effat is a modern time Amazon warrior. Her name is Swahili for “virtue” or “chastity”.
Effat was exiled from the Amazonian island to the Land of Men. This was punishment for defiantly disobeying Queen Hala when she was told to kill a slave (a man who was unlucky enough to find himself stranded on this particular island) who had disobeyed orders. As it is illegal on the island to kill citizens, they exiled Effat from their land. Before she left though, her mother gave her a horse that would never leave her side and one of her better friends, the Chief of Warriors, gave her a long sword that never misses its mark and a golden suit of armor that cannot be penetrated.
Now, five years later, Effat is known by everyone in Africa (where she ended up after leaving the island, though it is unknown where exactly) as Shujaa wa Dhahabu, which is also Swahili for “hero of gold”. She is called this because she wears golden armor. She has spent the last five years protecting the people of Africa from evil forces.

Powers: battle horse that never leaves her side; long sword that never misses its mark; extreme dexterity and agility; proficiency in all martial weapons, both blade and rifle; suit of armor that can’t be penetrated
Personality: loyal to her people; compassionate, but ruthless; respected by all men and women who meet her; made a vow of chastity, stating true to her name; focuses on her work and doesn’t let anything stop her from it

    Here is my entry

    Molpadia

    http://fav.me/ddv2g3t

Molpadia was an Amazon who was said to have fought for both Antiope and Orithyia. She was a participant in the Attic War, where she witnessed her queen Antiope sustain heavy injuries. Antiope was hurt so seriously that she could not defend herself from Theseus and his retainers. Knowing this, Molpadia killed the queen with an arrow (some say spear), saving her from violation by the Athenian king. Other sources, however, state that she killed Antiope by accident. She was afterwards killed by Theseus, and her tomb was shown at Athens.

She is a deadly warrior, and her name means “Death Song”. After her death, Ares the god of war, was so impressed with her fighting, he resurrected her, and gave her immortality. He also gave her blessed armor that gives her super human strength, stamina, and speed.

    PYRGOMACHE – “FIERY WARRIOR”

I struggled with this one a bit, and took the description of modern day amazon a little more literal, figuring that they would adapt to modern weapons. Pyrgomache spent years studying and mastering various pyrotechnic devices. She uses a combination of custom made flame throwers, flares, fire-bombs, smoke bombs, etc.. She wears a customer made fire suit that allows her the fullest movement possible.

    Hello this is my entry.
My take on modern amazon has true historic routes. This is today’s Dahomey woman warrior. Today’s the biggest threat in the west Africa is Boko Haram (Islamicterrorist group) so the native woman with a master degree in engineering decided to fight back, now she calls herself Amynomene Dahomey (Blameless Defender).

Something is faulty with the link, Please re-submit
