CDC #446 – Team Building – Volume 3 – Part 3

The premise of this contest is that over the next number of weeks we will build a team of superheroes and a team of villains. Each week I will supply you with a role, name, or list of powers of one of the team members and you will use HM3 to create the character.

The winner each week will win a version of their character created on HM by yours truly.

This week we move onto the second in Command of the hero squad – a female known as The Seeker.

She is originally a member of the Clovar tribe; the largest of the Aboriginal tribes of the planet Nuvar. The Clovar are a race of winged hunters with enhanced eyesight. Each tribe member is born with a distinctly ornate pair of wings each as individual as a snowflake.

My version of “The Seeker”. When their kind demonstrate their prowess in battle they are deemed worthy of ornate body/wing armor and ornamentation individual to them. A full set of golden armor and jewels demonstrate high rank and skill on the battlefield. Their wings also have unique prints on them at birth similar to the fingerprints of a human.

This alien race evolved special muscles in their eyes that allow them to reshape their lenses, retinas, and corneas to achieve a telescopic effect. The gloves and boots of her costume contain special materials that allow her to grip to cliff sides, buildings, aircraft, etc. Like all members of her race, she is unrivaled with ranged weaponry.

As a bonus, these wings were made without any items in the Wings category!

  3. Until reading this prompt, I never knew how much I needed in my life the opportunity to draw a superhero modeled after a lorikeet. So I present… Lorikeet Lass! I mean… um… Seeker… 😒

I love your custom-built wings! They look like they could double as a scarier weapon than the crossbow!

She has modeled her ‘costume’ after a Bald Eagle whose plumage closely matches her own.

As well as a special “second sight” a pair of Identical to their normal eyes located on different parts of the Clovar bodies to assist in their hunts. Sheessa Karr was one such member who was born with a power known as “Winged Sight” the ultimate hunters power of the Clovar, allowing her to expand her eyesight to all she touches with her second sight and increasing her eyesight 100 fold. Armed with the ancient armor of her ancestor the first leader of the Clovar tribe, and is sent on a mission to hunt down the evil of Invidia who threatens her homeworld. Meeting The One she, a fellow ally in her “hunt” she agrees to combine her might with his team to stop Invidia, although she claims it will be her who will deliver the final blow. Thus she takes the mantel of THE SEEKER.

I imagined the species to be mostly humanoid, with the major physical differences being their eyes (since they have enhanced eyesight), the skin color (with naturally-born stripes and designs), and obviously the wings.
