Leads Announced For Marvel’s Inhumans

With filming expected to start this month for an 8 episode run premiering in September, Marvel and ABC have now announced the actors who will be playing Blackbolt, Medusa and Maximus in their upcoming Inhumans TV Show. So far the cast consists of Anson Mount as Blackbolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa and Iwan Rheon as Maximus. Rheon is obviously a name that a few people will be familiar with, seen as he's been in some show called Game Of Thrones that is quite popular, but both Mount and Swan have experiance in doing Superhero TV Shows, having both appeared in Smallville (with Swan playing Zatanna), so certainly some interesting casting there.     I don’t know any of these actors. I missed out on Smallville but it’s on my list.

    Anson Mount… hopefully he’ll be more clean cut than his other roles. Black Bolt shouldn’t be a scruffy mop.

    This promo pic of Serinda Swan as Medusa. Please tell me that this isn’t her look. Medusa is a redhead!

    Now, this is just on first blush. Marvel’s done right by me with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. I just wanted to put these glaring character interpretations out there.

    @Atomic Punk- I highly doubt that promo pic is accurate. From what I know, they have barely started pre-production on the series, plus, as you say, it looks nothing like Medusa (not enough hair for starters, let alone the colour of said hair, and Medusa has never had a silver costume to the best of my knowledge).

    I wonder what other Inhumans will be in the series, I love to see Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, Inferno, Iso and even Mosaic. Also the Inhumans code names never make sense to me with a few exceptions.

    I haven’t seen Tron: Legacy but was wondering why that suit looked familiar.
