Character Design Contest ♯136- Winging It

Anyway, basically the idea here is you create a character that has wings. It's that simple. Doesn't have to be a humanoid character mind you, but it has to have wings. (Quick tip, there's a pegasus in the companions section that has some really nice wings, so take a look at what masking you can do with them if you feel so inclined as to not use any of the backplane wings). Oh and the wings don't have to be your standard angel configuration either (from the shoulder blades).

Have fun, and if you get stuck, just wing it...

As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

    Here is Mark Byrd aka Mockingbird.
    He is a mutant with powers of Winged flight and Voice/Sound Mimicry.
    He is a member of my super hero Texas team I had since highschool in the 80s, The Rangers, teaming up with Lone Star, Yellow Rose, Pecan, and Bluebonnet.

His feeding grounds include Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Spring Break in Miami, Gay Pride in New York, Folsom Street Fair in San Franscisco, Halloween in West Hollywood and others. and as such he is a skilled seducer, lover and corrupter.

    Not sure if it counts, since I colored this manually after getting the linework, and did a few edits to make it look the way I wanted ( very minor ones at that), but here’s Cassandra de Lancret. Not figured much of her back story yet…

    @dawnhunter- I’d say that technically no it doesn’t count because it’s not all heromachine, but I’ll definitely be include it in some fashion in COTW tomorrow.
