30 Characters Challenge #20: Pony Girl

Pony Girl is a character from Ian T. Healy‘s Just Cause Universe super-hero novel “Day of the Destroyer”. I’m working on a cover for him that will feature her and another main character in a perilous situation and this is the study I did to get the outfit and general appearance right. She’s a super-speedster from the 1970s.

    Very 70′s retro look. Love the Farah Fawcett feathered hair! Future item? Not knowning the story, the character looks like the innocent cheerleader type who is ready for buisness. The fringes on her coat will give a speedster some great effects. Great character study.

    I agree with AMS, I love her Farah Fawcett hair and it totally makes her look retro. Very cool, indeed.

    Her name is so unfortunate–suitable for the age, but so so unfortunate now.

    Will you be doing her daughter? Mustang Sally?
