We haven't done a "random name" character contest in almost a year, so I think it's about time we revisited this always-fun concept.
It's pretty straightforward and a great way to stretch your creative muscles.
Whoever comes up with the best character based on a random name generated by Seventh Sanctum Superhero/Villain Name Generator will win a) his or her choice of either any item they like to be included in the final HeroMachine 3 version; b) a portrait to be included in the final HeroMachine 3 version, or c) a "sketch of the day" style custom drawing. The rules are fairly simple:
The person with the winning entry as selected by our expert panel (i.e. me) will win their choice of a) a portrait to go in HeroMachine 3, b) an item to go in HeroMachine 3, or c) a custom black and white "Sketch of the Day" style drawing (also by me). The rules otherwise are the same as always:
- Go to the Seventh Sanctum Superhero/Villain Name Generator and choose "10" from the number of names to generate. Leave the other selection boxes at their default and hit "Generate". Your character(s) must be based on one of these generated names. Try your best to limit yourself to one spin of the wheel instead of generating names over and over till you get one you like!
- All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like ImageShack, PhotoBucket, the UGO Forums, whatever);
- Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name;
- The image cannot have been used in any previous HeroMachine character design contest;
- Please name your files as [your name]-[character name].[file extension]. So DiCicatriz, for instance, would save his "Bayou Belle" character image as DiCicatriz-BayouBelle.png.
- Please make the link go directly to the image (like this) and not to a hosting jump page (like this). If you see "preview" or "rotate" somewhere in the link you're probably doing it wrong.
- All entries must be in by next Monday, when I'll choose a winner.
No limit on entries this week, so knock yourselves out. Just make them good!

Heres my character, thought the name was a funny coincidence so I made this OC TMNT Character (Original Cartoon) and I like how he came out, if my laptop wasn’t so limited I could make better ones but meh, I like him.

N is Web Master, I hope he turns out well. I am using a old template I made a month ago when I was testing using weapons and shoulder pads as helmets and mask.
I got on that site and it gave me “Dark Fist” as one of the choices and I really liked it. I’m still having trouble trying to piece my characters with a background but thought I would try something to see if it would look good and I feel satisfied. See what you think.

Qu’har is from the land of Mancerian, a land were magic rules. He was a criminal caught and forced to fight in the gladiatorial arena for the amusement of the mages. He fought for several years but was one day killed when he was pitted against several foes at once. His skills were so great however that when a dark spirit came to collect him, he destroyed the spirit and took its undead body, turning himself into an undead necromancer. He used the fallen bodies of gladiators before him to create an army and escape the arena, now he fights to destroy all those who would use magic. Qu’har is dead, now he goes by the name Bronze Mage.

So I made something evil looking.
When my wife stopped by and said “That’s Disgusting” I knew I was on to something.
I got Rotting God. I instantly thought of a Marvel campaign that my Dad(Gene) started where you play a God from mythology(Greek, Norse, Egyptian, etc.) I made Zeus, and I converted him into a Rotting Zombie.

Here’s my second stab at it. Occult Laugh is a psychotic murderer and necromancer. Think of the Joker if he’d had occult abilities and were a necromancer.

Oh, right. I forgot to mention that the symbol on his chest is a representation of the Necronomicon or Book of the Dead. While reading from the Necronomicon, he was struck by a bolt of lightning, which created a conduit through which the knowledge of the ancient tome flowed. This caused him to absorb all of the spells and information.

The ChemShade’s transmutated his DNA, giving him abilities beyond his imagination. It game him the power to manipulate every chemical known to man, and even ones that weren’t. With one very jarring side effect. The ChemShade’s transmutating of his DNA created an alter ego, who was the manifestation of Tomas’s desires, anger and frustration.

Radec Godfrey, a renegade nobleman, who lived during the Victorian era. He was considered as the patron saint of the homeless in London, due to which other nobelmen opposed to. He was also an extremly lawful folower of the Light. That’s where his cruelty comes from actually.
Before taking people to his home, he always asks them, what religion do they support. There are only three options in that matter :
1) If the person has no religion to follow, Godfrey himself teaches them everything about it.
2) When the person is (for example) a catholic, he throws them into his personal cells to rot.
3) If they support the Light as well, he will make them his guests for as long as they want to.
Following the strict paths of the Light, Radec has also been nicknamed as the Cleric Count.

SNOW STRIKE is a former figure skater who gained the power to control snow and ice and wield it as a weapon. SHe can control cold air and wind to hover in the air. Here is mine.
He is Indestructible Eagle and was born a mutant with certain eagle attributes, such as wings and talons. He possesses the power of flight, as well as incredible long distance vision and hearing, and the ability to communicate with other animals. He fights crime with his powers, as well as various minor gadgets he creates himself that help him incapacitate baddies. His shield (obviously) helps protect him and is seen leaning against a rock in the background.
Ok I lied, one more entry for this from me. I decided to take a crack at Android Taint as well. The idea here is some diabolical mechanical beast that goes around replacing people’s flesh with steel and organs with machinery, tainting humans and converting them to androids.
And for the sake of the subtle pun, the victim in the picture is a bum.

The Andriod T.A.I.N.T. (Tactical Artifically Intelligent Nerd Terrifier) was once a machine programed to help mankind. After some nerds hacked it’s programing, something went horribly wrong. The main program was wiped and all that was left was the primary command: Learn, adapt, and become more human. As a function of this progaming it tried to litterally “become” human. Now it stalks the streets looking to harvest living body parts to replace it’s own with from anyone foolish enough to cross it’s path.

Serpent Master. – I love the idea behind this picture a big snake monster attack the town, but i think the volcano is a little bit to more for this picture.
Turtle Titan. – He he he. – I never think to make any TMNT char for this name. BTW good composition, like a superhero TMNT char. You make a full compositon.
My only problem the two picture is a little bit tiny for my eyes (I work today more than 14 hour, and my eyes are very dizzy now.) I need a lot time to my eyes focusing for the pictures.

Surprise, surprise hit me like a brick, when I realized this was my TMNT OC’s nickname. Anyways he is the leader of the Black Gator’s, a technology built gang that rules the underground market and is the second most numerous gang (right behind the foot) the second in command is right in front of the War King himself, Alexander, named after Alexander the Great, he to was a victim of the mutagen that mutated the turtles, when the rats and turtles where gone a young sewer croc stepped in it and was mutated himself. After finding a small homeless group in the sewers, he started a gang that would become one of the most feared and most powerful, he himself is not evil but he just wants to be left alone and help those who need it, even if he has his group commit a crime to do it, of course this will cause trouble with the Turtles who find out about these guys after Don not only visits one of their territories on accident, but also nearly dies fighting the beast in his lab before it starts to flood. the area I just described was actually based on a level in the 2007 movie, TMNT game.

Pretty and girly, but I loved the colors and how well they came out in the image, and after some trial and error, how
it(hopefully) created the image that she is in the air.
This character would have the power of flight, and air multiplication. Forcing the air flow to dance gently around her, or aggressively to cut down her foes in her personal squall of terror.

Charm Whale is the result of a government experiment to create navy personal who could communicate with and control cetaceans. But she objected to using these gentle creatures for war and disappeared into a pod of orcas. But she and her whale allies can be found helping victims of maritime disasters.
(Yeah, I know that’s NOT an orca. But it was the best I could do. We really need a dophin or orca companion.)
