Power User Profile: Zyp!

At long last, arguably one of the greatest HeroMachine creators around has provided his Power User Profile. Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to present the one, the only, ZYP!

  1. Online name used in HeroMachine environs: Zyp
  2. A photo (or drawing) of you in "real life":
  3. Real name: Jupe Parkkonen (Jupe being short for something. NOT french for "skirt"! Definitely not...)
  4. Real city/state/country: Finland
  5. Real job: Soon to be a student of comics! Gotta be exited about that...
  6. Real age: 20
  7. Gender: Male
  8. Relationship status (married, single, in a long-term relationship, dating someone, "it's complicated", etc): Single. Not complicated at all.

  9. Online archive of your creations: Heromachine forums and Photobucket.
  10. The best piece of HeroMachine art you've created:

  11. Favorite all-time geeky movie if any: "Starship Troopers". I saw it when I was way too young and all that spacebug-smaching left its mark on me... I'm also a really big fan of "The Lord of the Rings" but I don't consider it to be "geeky". 😀
  12. Favorite all-time geeky book if any: I'm gonna have to say the Scott Pilgrim-series. Also Watchmen and V for Vendetta are my big favourites. If you actually ment real books without any pretty pictures in them, propably LotR though, again, I don't consider it to be all that geeky.
  13. Favorite all-time geeky TV show if any: "Chuck"
  14. Favorite all-time comic book character if any: Spiderman
  15. If you could have one super-heroic power in real life, you'd choose: Flight

  16. In your leisure time you like to: Draw, paint, read comics, read other stuff besides comics (like traffic signs and such), parkour, play videogames.

  17. Character design turn-ons (things you love to see that make for a good design): Good colour scheme. Characters that look like actual drawings instead of being assembled of different pieces from heromachine (even though they are).
  18. Character design turn-offs (things you hate to see that make for a bad design): What bugs me the most are the small easily fixable mistakes like no ears on a character and especially wrong facial proportions.
  19. Best tip for a HeroMachine newbie: Look at stuff other heromachinists do and try to figure out how it was done. Remember that basic human anatomy applies to heromachine eg. eyes are vertically in the middle of the head and the top of the ears are at that same level.
  20. Any personal message you'd like to share with the HeroMachine community about Geek Life: Umm... Don't be afraid to be who you are... Or something...
