HM3: Cool chapeau

Thanks once again to Zyp, who in a twist of fate sure to see the inversion of the dimensional vortex and the appearance of Evil Spock with a goatee, provided his own prize for winning Character Contest 61:

This stellar addition to the haberdasher's art is now available in the Headgear-Modern set for HeroMachine 3.

  4. Mysterious Zed

hey sorry i didn’t no where to ask this but, i’m using Google chrome and i want to transfer but my HM3 character saves to my new pc where do i find the file? any help would be really appreciated.

  5. Zed:

Option 1 is to use the “Save as Text” feature for each of your characters — copy and paste them into a Notepad file or some other text format and then load them into the new one.

    Option 2:

The saved Flash shared object library files (.sol for you Windows users) are LIKE cookies, but they are NOT actual cookies. They are not stored in the shared internet data files and will not be deleted if you erase all your cookies. You can only remove them by right-clicking on the movie, and going to Flash Settings, removing them there.

Violodion found them in his Windows installation at %AppData%MacromediaFlash Player#SharedObjects\www.heromachine.comhm3

He was able to copy those and move them to another computer in the same directory and load his characters there.

    On my Mac they are in HD / User / / Library / Preferences / Macromedia / Flash Player / #SharedObjects / / http://www.heromachine.com / hm3 / heromachine3.swf / hmcharacters.sol

    Hope that helps.

  6. Hey jeff i know usually you put new items up on special occasions or if someone has won a prize but if you come up to it I was hoping you could create a good clown smile, like the Jokers or Sweet Tooth off twisted metal, im tryin to create a clown like character and most of the mouths just dont cut it, just an idea thx

  7. @CKnap (6): Hey, CKnap. I put together a clown smile for my hero Madcap… http://forums.ugo.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=77004&d=1303885781. Zoom in for a close-up of the teeth.

If Jeff likes it I’ll submit it.

Feel free to offer any suggestions…

  8. Now that’s a stylish hat!

  9. Me, Myself & I

I can feel a Dick Tracy kind of character comming on with this hat.

dblade (7) I love the tie. A few more colors on the teddy bears might be a nice addition. Perhaps red stripes on their hats like the man’s hat.

  10. @MMI (9): Good idea. A little splash of red might be the thing.

  11. I like this one but the hat in same tab in first square looks alot like it. I can see using this hat in a detective type character, I agree with MM&I it loocks very Dick Tracy ish. What else you working on?

  12. I like it, the smile is great it gives that creepy look to him haha.

  13. The only things missing are thos polkadot clown pants from HM2 and you could make a great evil clown
