Imagine my surprise when I checked "Project: Rooftop" today and saw a retrofit of our very own pantsless Unknown Soldier! Head on over and check it out, it's pretty awesome.

The Secret Lair
The symbol on his chest is a bit goofy, and the fishbowl on his head is worse, but otherwise I like the retrofit. Like the color combinations to give an overall very Military feel.
I certainly like it better with pants.
While I like the RetroFix on this character I most admit to a tab of disappointment. When I read the title of this post I thought you had finished the next Legwear update.

LOL me too.
No pants in battle – that’s the definition of half-assing it
Like Jason, I’m liking most of it, but not his symbol or his hat. With the lines filled in between the stars on his chest, it looks more occult than 50s science hero. And the hat really bothers me. What’s the point of the fishbowl that doesn’t even cover his mouth? If he just needs something to help him breath, something that covered mouth and nose–or his whole face–would be much more practical. If he doesn’t need anything to help him breath, why not have something that would work more as a helmet? I mean, yes, the fishbowl is a helmet, but clear glass doesn’t scream durability. If he doesn’t need to breath or need head protection, why give him a hat at all?
Hi gang! Here is my redo of the Unknown Soldier:

@Danny Beaty:
“Aaaah he’s naked!”
This was my first thought. Then I saw the scale pattern, but he still looks nude (in a Ken doll sort of way) at first glance. That’s scary stuff.
(Also irritating to me? My spelling. Note to self: try to remember you went to school, ‘kay?)
I like it, Danny, but like Laridian, I found the uniform color to be a little too close to skin tone. Maybe a couple shades darker, or a move toward olive green, would help.
