With help from the nice commenters on the last post, I've added the following items to Insignia-Nature for HeroMachine 3. Thanks guys!

Ahhhh… new character ideas abound. Thanks, Jeff.

Oh, by the way, I noticed something odd: in Bodies/Male/Standard, the default body now has feet, where before it didn’t. ??

thank you thank you thank you !

  3. Avatar NEON_N64 says:

    Nice !

  4. Rozenstal Rozenstal says:

Cool. Only yesterday thought that is necessary more Insignia.

  5. Avatar Jeff Hebert says:

Thanks Imp, I fixed the body template now — the thing is, each set of items has the standard male body in it (invisible to you, there for me when I’m editing the file). On some of the older sets that I use as a base, I forgot to take off the bit of code that exports the symbol. When that happens, the old version of the body with feet overwrites the actual standard body as soon as you load the old file.

Anyway, should be working now. Also, I added a rain drop as Fabien suggested, since there isn’t anything even close to that yet.

Hey Jeff, When you were working on my FNF prize you designed a real interesting insignia for Shayla of a bird with spread wings and a flame in the center, I think that would be a nice addition to the insignia’s section.

  7. Avatar Me, Myself & I says:

    Nicely done Kaldath.

Here is another idea that could fit well in either Insignia’s (Standard) or Word Balloon’s.

Ribbons like you see on the tops or bottoms of Coats of Arms.

  11. Avatar Fabien says:

    What about jewels ?

  12. Avatar metalhead666 says:

i think the next item update should be more legwear because i had to use the same knight armor leggings for over 5 guys now

  13. Avatar Jake says:

Great work, Jeff! I didn’t even know you were working on these. A very pleasant surprise.

  14. Avatar Me, Myself & I says:

I agree with metalhead666; we are most in need of Male Fantasy Legwear.

  15. Avatar Jeff Hebert says:

Fabien, when I think of “Nature” I don’t think “cut gemstones”. I think more like leaves, animals, weather, that kind of thing. Not to say that I’ll never do gem stones, but they don’t seem to “fit” in this set all that well.

  16. Avatar Steve M. says:

I’d like to see some other star variations, other than the 5- and 6-point versions, or their sun counterparts. For a couple of Marvel examples, there is Quasar’s most well-known costume, with a simple 4-point start with a circle, or Mar-Vell’s 8-point star symbol.

  17. Avatar Dennis says:

The wolf head on the bottom row can be used for more than a simple insignia 😀

  18. Avatar Jeff Hebert says:

    That looks cool Dennis!

  19. Avatar Me, Myself & I says:

The one in the middle would make a really neat insignia. The Palm Tree is very nature like. I imagine it would be good for dessert type characters as it could easily represent an oasis. The Scimitar’s work with or without the Palm Tree.
