HM3: Flying legs

Or are they walking legs? Either way, here's a quick screen grab of the legs I just added to the "BodyMaleStandard" set:

    I WANT “HM” 3!

  2. Richard Tale says:

    wow

    You’re the greatest Jeff!!!

  3. Mark says:

Can you do a “Capt’n Morgans” pose with one leg up on a cask (or chair or tree stump or whatever)? Also, what about a squatting position?

  4. Jeff Hebert says:

What do the rest of you think about Mark’s two suggested positions? They seem to have limited appeal to me, but if there’s enough people wanting them I can certainly add them.

  5. Ballin' Boy says:

Well you could probably get the Captain Morgan Leg just by rotating the above left leg out to the side a little bit., and shortening the leg a little bit. And if the app is going to have lower and upper legs you could easily do it. After all that’s what those buttons are for. Sorry don’t like shooting down others ideas but Mark I think the Captain Morgan type pose can be done by just messing with those legs a little bit. Not sure about the squatting.

  6. Danny Beaty says:

    Nix tha Captain Morgan thing.

  7. Alan says:

    Jeff, your MY IDOL!!!

  8. Socrates says:

    How about a Heisman pose?

  9. StrangezThingez says:

Just a question, Jeff, are most of the HeroMachine 2.5 items going to be in HeroMachine 3?

  10. Jeff Hebert says:

Probably so, Strangez. The slots are a bit more mixed up so I can’t guarantee everything makes the transition, but obviously the old items will form the vast majority of my available item pool.

  11. HalLoweEn JacK says:

With all the effort you’re putting into HM3, I hope UGO are prepared to back you for a 3d modelled package for HM4 – something like the character creation of ‘Sporez’ but with superheroes.

    Visuallise that and drool.

  12. Christopher Vogel says:

    I’m drooling. I’m drooling.

  13. Rick says:

I think the two poses are fine, but you could do an actual running pose as well, running straight ahead. You could then do a “Flash” speed effect as a background! I was going to say no to the squat, but that works well for agility based heroes I guess. Getting very excited about HM 3, great job Jeff!

  14. The Imp says:

Jeff, you realize that when HM3 is released I’m going to have to quit my job and spend the next six months making characters, right? I just want you to know you’ll be responsible for my economic collapse. 🙂

  15. Jeff Hebert says:

Being sworn to Entropy is a heavy burden, Imp, but I’ll try to bear it with grace.

  16. Fabien says:

I’m impatient to see the previews of the new items….

  17. Blue Blazer says:

I’d rather see the arms folded across the chest, with the body angled slightly away from the viewer. This is a good alternate pose for mixing it up in group shots.

  18. Jeff Hebert says:

You’ll be able to put the arms across the chest yourself. The problem with an angled-away torso is that none of the items are drawn for that orientation. It’s all got to be head-on.

  19. Ballin' Boy says:

can we get a pair or arms that can be positioned facing straight up in the air, then maybe some hands that have the palms facing the sky. Like they are holding something heavy like a collapsing cave, or holding giant energy ball or something?

And can that finger get a smudge straighter. It doesn’t have to be completely straight, I’ll manipulate it if I had to. Just hoping it could look a little more stressed in the pointing.
