Reply To: ONE PART, MANY CHARACTERS contest……

I really had a hard time figuring out the winner for this one, so I brought in extra help. After we got don’t Herr D is the winner for an outstanding piece with an amazing background.

Xenos is a protector sent to Earth to protect against threats from the Karth Empire. He is one of the most powerful beings on earth. He is forbidden by oath to give humans access to his technology, but he has revealed his existence.

Xenos lives in Greece, where he has created a powerful citadel from which he manufactures his “warbots,” studies earth culture, and which serves as his home.

Like vector man said, great turn around poses. Very nice character designs.

Yeah, to what you said, male character backs are kind of hard to do. If you’re doing skin or something skin tight, it’s probably best to look at a picture of a back, and use shading to replicate it as best as possible.

This is my first big attempt at positioning, and shading. I know that I still have a lot to learn. I would like to know what you think of this character.
This character was trained by one of the Guardians (I’ll be posting him soon. Depending on schedule). Charon has been adept with the ability of darkness since he was a kid. He was eventually taught how to create, and change objects using his dark ability. That is the main reason he is called the black rose. He uses a black rose for his traditional mark, and what he transforms his artifacts into.

Thanks Vectorman. I really wanted to be able to do character “turn-arounds.”

The male back pose is turning out to be much harder to produce.

Yeah, those are nice. Useful in other capacities too. [hint, hint, nudge, wink]
