Guys? Regrettably, I may not be around for awhile. Computer troubles among being swamped. Gotta give my new friend’s laptop back. Enjoy.

@Yin- I’ll definitely take you up on that, but not now. Gonna concentrate on some other stuff first.

Like this.

Segue.

Here whole life all Lauren Keiler wanted to do was dance. She did ballet as a child and trained in various classical and contemporary dances at a specialised dance school. Unfortunately, her dreams were crushed when she was hit by a drunk driver on her way back from a club with some of her friends shortly after her 19th birthday. The crash damaged her spine so badly that she lost the use of her legs and she fell into a serious depression. However, she found a new lease of life when she discovered wheelchair dancing and other wheelchair sports. She now helps run a local disabled sports club and is part of a contemporary wheelchair dance group.

Remake of this

Wheelchair stolen from MadJack. Hopefully he doesn’t need it.

Anyway, I’m getting rid of the whole “Samurai spirit warrior” aspect I had with the original version of this character, because I kinda always found it a bit silly, even just after I’d done it originally. Plus I’m going to be incorporating Lauren in the same “world” as Lili and Danni, so no superheroes or such-like in there thanks.

A little update:

Alkabtin Al'iirhab (Captain Terror)
Alkabtin Al’iirhab is based on the public domain character Captain Terror (Timely Comics): http://pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Captain_Terror

My Idea for this one is the guy began as a street thug, but is starting to turn around.

Breakdown: the braid it the necklace, the nose is the “mortar” and the nose on the shirt. the belt piece is on the shoulders and is the “cannon”.

Looks pretty interesting. What kind of character is he, what does he do?

I’d like to know what the pauldron is attached to, though. It’s not bolted onto his bare shoulder or anything, right? The wind moving his cloak so dramatically isn’t affecting the leaves on his waist at all.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with this!

A WIP I’ve been doing. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks, everybody! I’m very happy that people seem to be liking it, it took a lot of work. I made a small update to the sky color, to vary the blues a little bit. There’s so much blue in the design, they have to be different shades.

I also wrote a guide on what I call Frankensteining, scavenging parts from larger items to use in your designs. Check it out!
