Reply To: Santa Swap #5 Delayed start!

Can you believe it’s been 24 days already? Well, since it’s Christmas Eve (thanks to time delay) let me wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I am going to place the rules (and my additions to it, in  parens) here so that next year we can announce this just after Thanksgiving and start at Nov 30th.

-Each person who participates must put up a list of 5 ‘presents’ that they’d like to receive. (I’ve seen years where people were almost begging to give others things~SO, coming up with an expandable list is advisable!)
-If you receive a present you must give a present back!!! (If you have got a gift, and do for some reason get sick, and/or Hm less for a time, to try to give something back when you can, and if Santa swap is closed, give it on  their personal thread.{this will make you feel better.})
-If you make a custom pose/item/background as a present include the text string so the person receiving the gift can use it.
-Don’t ask a specific machinist to give you a present, whilst they may be happy to do it, you’re excluding others from giving that gift. (and someone you may not have thought of, may have a better solution than you thought of.)
-You can ask for hand drawn items if you wish, just don’t expect them to be done.
-If your list is completed, it’s up to you to tell people if you want them to carry on giving you stuff off your first list (if you ask for redesigns and stuff like that) or if you want them to give you other stuff, in which case you can put up an extra present on your list.
Of course this isn’t really a contest, it’s just the only category this thing fits in. It’s more a fun way of getting into the Christmas spirit, heromachine style.

(If you receive a gift NOT on your list{for some reason}, say thank you, and give a gift back.

If you want to give a specific Hm’er a gift, but do NOT want to join the Swap, then it’s best to work out the details on your personal threads)

That is so impressive I honestly can’t think of anything to say that would do it justice. It’s so clever and creative it hardly looks like Heromachine at all.

*sigh*

You know, when I saw that you’d posted something, I had this whole thing prepared like I did with Nug about you being back and you not being allowed to leave again. But then I get to the page and see that you’ve posted that and there doesn’t seem to be a point anymore. In fact, there doesn’t seem to be a point in heromachining anymore because nothing anyone does is going to be as good as that. Like legitimately, you’ve done some stuff that doesn’t look like heromachine, but I refuse to believe that actually is heromachine. You just hand-drew it and made sure to include some sketches of some of the items didn’t you. Admit it.

Anyway, I now feel really sad that I tried a shading technique similar to this with my last picture and was really proud of it and you come back and are immediately 8 trillion times better. Oh and BTW I’ve just put this picture in the HOF.

EDIT: Oh yeah and congrats on graduating. Shame you’re not gonna be able to use your degree because you’re banned from leaving here now.

Side note:  It has been far too long, but now I am officially a college graduate!  I really missed these forums and now that I have a bit of free time, I figured I would make a new character.
