Thanks JR.
Here is Alpha, AKA Alex Patten, one of the premier heroes of my universe. He has enhanced strength, reflexes, speed, senses, a healing factor, and the ability to scan weapons which allows him to intuitively know how to use them and to replicate them using magical energy. This allows him to summon weapons and be a one man army. He favors pistols and has a repertoire of trick bullets.
He was created by an evil organization by mixing human and demonic DNA to be the perfect soldier and assassin. He was code named Alpha because he was the first test subject to survive past 6 months. After he was born, several other clones were made, his siblings. He was raised to believe that the people he was killing needed to die for the good of the world. He committed his first assassination when he was 13. When he was 15, the team he was a part of massacred innocent women and children in a village near the compound he was raised in Mexico. This made Alex realize he was not on the side of the angels. He fled the area and eventually ended up in Aeolus city.
There he ended up making friends such as Zach, who would become Shock and starting to live a more normal life. Zach's family would adopt him and Alex found a life where he was not an assassin. Though his past did leave him a pragmatic and more cynical individual.
He would also take up the name Alpha again, hoping to redeem himself by becoming a hero who could save lives. He would eventually be confronted by the organization and help take it down. Alpha has become one of the most prominent heroes of his generation. He also lost an arm while helping take down the Zalamin warship that threatened to destroy the planet.

CDC Prize for Angelos Stefanopoulos...

Anyway...

Name: Abel Peterson
Previously arrested and sectioned for a spate of violent murders, Abel Peterson escaped captivity and decided to make his hobby a profession. Now a killer for hire, Peterson has built himself a reputation and quite the kill list, each left with his signature X cuts across the eyes. Of course, with a reputation comes more attention and with more attention comes higher pay, but higher pay means more dangerous jobs. Not that Peterson minds the danger, but he's starting to edge into the territory where superheroes are beginning to take notice.
I like the Hammer a lot. He looks ready to bring the PAIN!

New villain idea. No backstory yet, all I know atm is he's super strong and smashes things with his custom-made gauntlets.

So, Gabriel. Despite being an angel (or at least of angellic origin) Gabriel is something of a party animal. He's also very good with the ladies (or the guys if you want, he's not too fussy) and will never turn down an opportunity for a good time. However, when it comes to his work, he is deadly serious. Of course, his line of work often leads him into contact with the SRC, who he has developed some what of a rivalry with (especially Azaria, for obvious reasons). The foremost demon hunter in the world (and probably a few other planes of existance), Gabriel weilds the greatsword Sefirot, which can cleanse the impure and its holy light is like poison to demon flesh.
I know you posted him a few weeks back, but I have to say I LOVE the magic energy effect you did on James Holly.
Here is Luther Cross, one of SPARO's top operatives and often field commander. Luther has the ability to control magnetic forces. He was once a hero who fought crime with his wife who had superstrength. The two of them had rings made of an indestructible and magnetic metal as a sign their love could not be destroyed. His wife was murdered by a supervillain with a death ray and all that was left was her ring. Luther went a little mad and used her ring to murder the supervillain.
SPARO offered him a commission instead of jail time and Luther became one of their best soldiers. His years of experience as a hero led him to become team leader on their missions. He is one of the more lethal members of the squad, the ring flying around like a remote controlled bullet.
