From Yemen, Sun Spider.

Mostly retired these days, Sun Spider never really wanted to be a superhero, much preferring to work as an analyst but he always seemed to find himself getting involved in fieldwork.

These days he spends most of his time behind a desk but will occasionally put on the costume again to help teach those reckless youths of today how to use their powers properly.

Here are two teachers and former students of the Institute.

Jaime Regan has a small power nullification field which makes her immune to powers. She uses her knowledge of martial arts to fight crime as Amazon.

Jesse Cardenas is the son of a supervillain/thief who inherited his father's ability to become invisible and intangible. After his father went to jail, he took on his father's nom de guerre of Spectre to try to redeem it.

The two teachers have recently become engaged.

Here is detective Mike Janus who has a mystical punch.

Here is the trickster/villain known as Hat. Hat has a mystical hat which has a portal to another dimension inside of it. From it, Hat can summon eldritch abominations and magical blasts.

Here is an irish shapeshifter assassin named Fetch.

Today on our journey around the world, we're in Luxembourg, where we find Duchess.

Now I'm not quite sure why my brain went to jetpack granny when thinking about Luxembourg but...here we are.
