Here is a character with 2 possible designs and names. She is either Featherweight or Skydancer. She is a heroine who can manipulate her own gravity which she uses to fly. She is also an expert at using her dancing skills to fight. I was inspired to make her after thinking of “floaty” characters in games like mewtwo in SSB.

Thanks and here is a contest entry. My take on Warp V has him more of a floaty speedster, flying around at high speeds surrounded by an energy aura.

Here is Hyde, possibly one of the physically strongest men on the planet. He is a crime boss with superstrength and invulnerability. He is a sociopath and a genius, which combined with his superstrength have made his rise meteoric in the criminal world.

Hyde has managed to stay uncaptured so long due to his special state. Their are two souls within his body. He was subsumed by his twin brother in the womb, but his soul remained. Recently, he was able to surface and take control and when he did, his powers came to be. Now half the time, he is the meek Henry and the other half he is the villainous Hyde. Hyde has secretly been trying to remove his brother’s soul so he can have full control.

Here is Shade, an assassin who can teleport himself and objects he’s touched. He is an expert with knives. The shadowy smoke that accompanies his teleportations and his ability to evade detection earned him his moniker. He is one of the top assassins on the planet and he is known for only killing his targets. He has crossed paths with heroes several times and has an oddly friendly relationship with Alpha.

Here are two teachers and former students of the Institute.

Jaime Regan has a small power nullification field which makes her immune to powers. She uses her knowledge of martial arts to fight crime as Amazon.

Jesse Cardenas is the son of a supervillain/thief who inherited his father’s ability to become invisible and intangible. After his father went to jail, he took on his father’s nom de guerre of Spectre to try to redeem it.

The two teachers have recently become engaged.

Here is Riley Clay, one of the hero world’s biggest benefactors.

He is the current CEO of Clay Technologies, one of the foremost producers of superhero related tech. He can breathe fire and fought crime as Spitfire. When his father Jackson Clay found out about his nocturnal activities, he threatened to disown him if he did not quit. In response, Riley joined SPARO as a part of their powered black ops team.

He and his father managed to mend their relationship before his father passed away. Now in charge of one of the biggest tech companies in the world, Riley stepped down from heroing to help the hero world in another way. Clay Technologies helps fund the BSH and supplies all of their tech.

Here is John Carroll, a former student of the Institute turned terrorist and mass murderer.

John is potentially one of the most powerful telepaths on the planet. Unfortunately, he cannot turn his powers off and his range is always growing. When he got to the Institute, he could hear all thoughts within a mile radius of him, but his distance grew at an exponential rate. He tried to tune them out, but his ability to suppress his powers was outpaced by the growth of his powers. Listening to music seemed to help, but eventually there was nothing the Institute could do to help him. So he became a hermit, isolating himself to try to get some silence.

But his powers continued to grow until he could no longer hide. It seems as though the entire globe is now in his reach, leaving him with a never ending cacophony in his head. This drove him mad and led him to try to find ways to silence the noise in his head by force. So he became a terrorist with the goal of causing as much casualties as possible. He also has the ability to project some of the thoughts he hears into other people. This mass influx of thoughts causes its victims to overload, causing a fatal brain hemorrhage. He does not use this often as it limits the amount of voices he can suppress.

Thanks HerrD, and it is the latter for Andy. He feels nothing but is excellent at imitating emotions. When acting, he comes off as a friendly guy you’d like to have a beer with, but when the mask comes off, he is cold and ruthless.

Here is Andrew Carson, a former member of SPARO turned EMT for the Hero Hospital. The Hero Hospital is a hospital full of people with healing powers who caters towards those involved in superhuman conflict. Andrew has light invulnerability and superstrength. If anyone threatens his patients, they have angered the wrong man.
