Minecraft Convention Heads to Sunny Orlando In November Minecon 2013, the third annual Minecraft convention will be held in Orlando, Florida, from November 2 - 3, with tickets and hotels available in July. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios' magical theme park, is located in Orlando. The November weather should be beautiful. Minecraft Servers Minecon 2012 was held at Disneyland Paris in November and attracted 7,000 fans and, the year before, it had a presence in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was attended by 5,000 people and featured impressive scale models of real-life Minecraft beasts.
