    Simon the Bard

Yup, Aulos met him at Bardic College

    Robin Hood and the Tanner

Ah! I finally found the actual song that really inspired me to do Simon. Adventures of Robin Hood, the episode Season 1 Episode 7 (or 8 depending on the scource) The Challenge.
INTRODUCTORY MINSTREL SONG: “Giles Black and Robin Hood, archers of undoubted skill; loose their shafts on target range, but one is champion still!”
SUMMARY: The Sheriff wagers with Sir Richard of the Lea that his archer, Giles Black, can defeat Robin Hood in an archery contest.
Richard sent Simon the Minstrel to tempt Robin Hood and Little John out of Sherwood Forest to the Archery Tournament against the Sheriff’s champion’s

(Being black and white show, I came up with the colors)

    Urisk
    also spelled Ùruisg
A Scottish version of the Satyr. It has the body of a human from above and of a goat below. They have small horns on their heads and they live in the forest people. They have a strong sexual behaviour and like to get drunk often.

In Scottish folklore the Urisk was described as having the upper half of a man and the lower half of a goat. The Urisk was said to haunt pools of water and waterfalls near the Scottish Highlands. Often chronicled as being very lonely, the Urisk would seek out human companionship; however the unusual nature of his physical appearance often frightened away anyone he would try to interact with.
Like many folk legends at the time the Urisk was known to help farmers tend to their fields, they where also known to frighten humans by following them through the dark and lonely places of the world.

    Dougal Gobher,  the Urisk bagpiper
(gobher is the Scottish Gaelic word for goat)

Busking Allowed! Satyr playing bagpipes Vancouver

(I was very proud of the bagpipes I created)

July 2014 I posted him (and 33 other entries, yeah, a lot) in Inspired by Music CDC
I didn’t place with Duncan, then just named Gobhran, But I did with Pan creating the World.

and here was the song inspiration at the time Scotland The Brave on bagpipes

I should have posted this as the song inspiration >}:^{D>
Iris & Rose – Scotland Depraved: Bring Me Some Whiskey Mother

Oh and I am posting it here, because, Yes Aulos met him at Bardic College  >}:^{D>

I am up from my post dialysis nap.

Yesterday a stray black cat/kitten came to me, even let me pet her? and  pick her up. I was going to fed her but she was gone

Today the  black cat/kitten let us bring it in, her and Eleanor 12 year old shorthair gray tabby are growling and hissing at one another right now, but no one has attacked the other.

I named her a rather uninspired Blackie, but Bre thinks she’s a Tabitha.

I fed Tabitha and she is checking out the house. purring like a motor boat.

    Metal.

Her name is pronounced Mee Tahl
supposed to have a long sign over the e and a ‘ over the a, but I can never do those on a keyboard.

The rest of her name, her family name is Wobniar du Quamon
thinly veiled Rainbow of the Quarter Moon
Ehlspar was the Elven continant shaped like a Quarter Moon

(This is one of my earliest AD&D characters, back before there was a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5ths edition or 20D or anything else. Back when Bards were several levels of Fighters, then Theives, then Bard and got Druid spells. Weird thing is, I played her back in the 80s,36 years ago, when I was in high school, I am an old man of 54 now, to Metal those 36 years are hardly a blink of her eyes)

The Complete Elvish Themes & songs for The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit

With Metal’s bardic skills and spells she can actually make her insturment sound like others, and with illusionary songs can add other voices to her song to accompany herself.

    Elven Bard

(I need to fix her elbow, use a light grey outline on her hair, shade her face at least, maybe later heh )
