A disturbing sequences of events. The character from his prime to damaged to triumphant to revenge. Every step of the way he has purpose.

My nit is that I see the story, but the regal appearance of the first character to the wounded second is very off-setting. I understand trying to demonstrate contrast. How the character was and how he is now. It’s too large of a leap. To me, these personalities are separate and unique but still need to be cohesive. Maybe re-worked into a schizophrenic / psychotic episode not just a handsome prince to a paraplegic.

Zognor Nyatt, Overthrown Emperor, Pilot of the Tookzod
Now What one needs to understand about Zognor is that he was a VERY irresponsible emperor and would probably (if you caught him at the right emotional period) admit that he couldn’t handle the responsibilty. As a character in the saga, he is certainly the comic relief… He is by no means incompetent but very…. weird…. (even by zophnoirian standards) I’ve always tried to think of him as part Jar Jar Binks, Part Yoda (without the mysticism), Part pfifltriggit, and part Zim (without the meniacal megalogmania). Now as terrible an emperor he was in the past he is a great pilot and great mechinist. He tends to be a bit greedy and self absorbed at times and is quite socially clueless but all in all he is a good (sentient being?) at heart.
