I need help with masking an item

I created a character but I can’t get a certain area to mask.I’m tying to mask the area on his chest but leave the red stripes on the lower part of the character.I’m hoping some on this forum can do it for me and send me the updated text string.If someone can help me,I’ve attached the text string for the character and you can go from there.Thanks to anyone who can help me,I really appreciate it.

@Daniel Redd- Have you tried masking the red stripes to the yellow section of his costume?
