Mr.NobodyParticipantI know there is a snow aura, but the humanoid shape and massive snowflakes make hard to use for a background or to the really fill the area. How would I go about making a better snowy scene? (esp. If for a close up of the characters face.)
Thanks,
Peace outApril 23, 2014 at 5:28 am #39638
amsParticipantUse the starry sky item in BACKGROUNDS. 1st item, 2nd line. Over lay it on your finished pic and fade out the prime color. Also play with the line color to make the flakes “softer”. I have seen a couple of ‘machiners use this technique. Cheers!

HammerknightParticipantHere is an example, like Ams said but without the fading and other special effects.

WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantNot necessarily a snowy background, but something I did a while back to suggest a snow covered, icy environment. Sorry, no text code was saved.

Herr DParticipantSomebody on here recently (forgotten who) also demonstrated a good job of masking snow onto characters. It looked like upside down landscapes masked onto the shoulder items, etc.
