What browser are you using? Have you recently deleted cookies or ran a registry cleaner?

In Chrome, the button is invisible. You have to use the Tab key after you enter your password then spacebar to check the box. Or, hover above it and click. Even then, you don’t see the checkbox. Just keep at it until the cookie is back in place.
