Ouch! That’s nasty… Some cleaning programs can do horrible tricks. I once used one, which decided that the driver program for my in-build web-cam was a spy program and removed it. Obviously my web-cam stopped working completely, untill I restored the whole damn system.

I hope I could help you with more than sympathy, but my computer speaks Finnish, and the names of the folders wouldn’t tell you much…
