Vendula, or Dula for short, was a Russian climatologist sent to study climate changes in the Antarctic. Discovering that she really didn’t mind being in the cold environs, she stayed at the science outpost for two years studying climactic weather patterns. During the stormy winter months, one of her fellow scientists succumbed to cabin fever and began killing the remaining staff at the outpost. When Dula ran from him and escaped to the outside, her GorWol trait manifested and she survived the extreme freezing temperatures while her pursuer perished in the freezing temperatures. With her only hope of rescue being the resupply plane at the end of the storm season, Dula spent her time learning and refining her Cyrokinetic abilities. Returning to Russia, Dula was contacted by Beacon to join the ISF where she serves on ISF Team ALPHA. Dula is a Cyrokinetic and can generate and control ice. She can create blasts of cold, ice missiles and walls of ice from ambient moisture, as well as forming sleet, snow, and freezing rain. She can makes ice slides which form rapidly beneath and behind her feet, moving along the slick surface at high speeds. She is able to fashion an armor of solid ice around her body. She can create an ice-sheen across her entire body, and generate objects composed completely of ice, such as projectiles (ice daggers) and defensive walls. She can also instantly freeze animate matter through physical contact. Continual concentration on solid objects allows her to freeze them to the point of breaking, cracking or crumbling.
