Sazall is the Queen of the Daemos, who have a culture of covering their faces unless they are important, and live in a lower peninsula where only the Daemos can survive. She freed the Bloodmaster under the understanding that he would create an army for her, and she would allow him to research his alchemy with no restrictions.
