Billy is the younger half-brother of Beast Man, but while his big brother can turn into any animal he wishes, Billy can only turn into a humanoid fox, gaining all of the extrasensory abilities therein. Both got their powers from their mother, the supervillainess Animalia. At the times when they get together, Bill and Lyle often attempt to devise ways to bring their mother back to the side of good.
