Captain Meridian is, in many people’s opinion, the champion of the world. His well of selflessness, courage, and love of peace seems to be bottomless. As a child, he was visited by a member of the Council of the Universe, an omnipotent group of celestial beings who keep reality in balance. The Council had been watching the citizens of Earth for millenia, waiting for a soul brave enough and pure enough to give an ultimate gift. At ten, Nathan received that gift, the vast powers he has now perfected to an art. Since then he has been a crusader for peace, honor and truth, and has becomes everyone’s hero, except for the villains he fights, who would like nothing more than to have his head in their respective trophy rooms. All in all, Captain Meridian is the Superman of the Blazing Blue Universe.
