The most popular theory for the reason why the Arctic Avenger patrols Antarctica for evil is that he is stark raving mad and recently escaped from a mental institution. Whatever the reason, he has made it his personal goal to guard whatever may be in the harsh, forbidding chill of the South Pole from what is probably nonexistent jeopardy all in the Avenger’s mind. He has no idea who he really is or where he came from. He has no memory of his life before deciding to move to Antarctica. And he’s an idiot.
