I ended up screwing around with lighting effects on this one. Specifically how the light from the fire might reflect off the character. I’m not convinced I got it right but honestly if I spend any more time on it I may go insane(er).
I’m also not really sure why included fire with this guy at all. I think maybe I just decided he needed something extra.

Hopper is one of the insectoid colony’s most loyal members. The master inventor is the genius behind much of the tech used by the Ant Queen and her followers. He’s also the father of wannabe hero the Cricket. Although Hopper hates to admit to that particular relationship/embarrassment.
