Eliza was a grade school teacher seeking tenure when her mutant powers manifested after an attempted mugging. She sent her would be attackers to the hospital after clawing them half to death. Scared, Eliza kept to herself and withdrew from society until she was tracked down by Coldsnap to join his Crusaders team. She eventually accepted her powers and became a true hero.
Panther Girl is a therianthropic and can transform into a panther hybrid. When in her hybrid form she has enhanced senses, claws, enhanced speed, agility, endurance and toughness. Her panther style coat allows her to blend in the dark and in shadows.
