When you find the world so dark, so bereft of hope, so utterly broken, how do you fix it? Can it even be fixed? Would it just be better to burn it all down and start again, like fresh growth after a forest fire. Because the world is worth saving, even if the system isn’t.
The world needs heroes, but those who are meant to be our heroes either stand by and do nothing, or actively aid in our oppression. We need a different kind of hero.
