    When I try, it just keep the masking window open and doesn’t actually mask. Pattern will mask onto the head, but refuses to mask when i try to apply it to the horn.screenshot of issue

    confirmed! The red ‘x’ doesn’t work either. You have to use the ‘close’ button, or nothing else will happen.

    Until that issue is dealt with, I can recommend a technique I’ve had to use: partial layovers–use insignia of a rectangle and crescent moon to mask parts of the shape at a time. It takes time and layers, but it does work. Similar things happen when you try to pattern a hand.
