R.I.P Yvonne Craig/Batgirl

Actress Yvonne Craig who played Batgirl in the 1960’s Batman tv series died today due to complications from breast cancer.

    Love the pic, sad she’s gone..
    At least I got to meet her once and get her autograph. She was such a pixie, even at her age.

    It is very sad that she is gone. I remember having the biggest crush on her when I was a kid. It is also sad that we lost a Batman this week too, I bet the children he visited will miss him a lot.

    Thanks for mentioning the loss of a Batman, I looked it up. It is indeed sad we lost a Batman, and what a good thing he did for some many.

    Definitely my favorite Batgirl. I love her modish style. As hip as Hepburn. Going to make TV time into a Batgirl binge this weekend.

    @Hammerknight: I still watch the video of Batman being pulled over. Laugh every time. Rather sad news. From the stories that I read, he was quite a character and all-around good guy.
