Ok, so continuing our classical elements theme, this week we're doing the second element, Water. Therefore, all of your entries must be water themed. So that could be aquatic scenery, water-themed characters, nautical images etc. etc. etc. Just dive in and hope you make a big enough splash.
As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
Ok so this was meant to go up tomorrow but I got trigger happy with the publish button instead of scheduling it, so y’all get an extra half a day because I cba to take the post down at the moment and it’s not like it wasn’t easy to guess what this weeks theme was going to be.
Is Ice acceptable as well?
@Outcast- I’m going to say no. Lets just stick to plain old water for now.
My entry for this week has a little bit of mythology and mysticism involved: Yemanja, the queen of the oceans.
She’s an Orisha, a deity from the African-Brazilian religion Umbanda. She rules the seas and protects the sailors. She’s celebrated by taking baskets of white flowers and jewelry to the ocean as offerings.
My entry is called “Depth”
This image is of a giant sea-monster at the bottom of the ocean. there is a ship above. the monster must decide its fate.
My second entry: Conjured
what is this being? think.
@StarkillerRX: Out of curiosity, may I ask where you are from? Yemanja is not commonly known outside of Brazil….
I’m from Brazil, actually.
Cool. I`m from Brazil too. I live in Rio, what about you?
Here is my Merman,
I SO am fighting to keep from naming him Herman.
PLEASE STOP ME!!!!
Guess I’ll call him Ichthys
although that leads to: “Man these scales itch, could you help me … itch this?”
BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA! 😀
now on with the link:
its called “Flushed”
Here’s mine. Triton Landslayer. The son and champion of the god Neptune.
Entry Title: “Aquaknight”
this is Sir Cymo, the knight of the wave.
Entry title: “Aquaknight”
This is Sir Cymo the knight of the wave.
Would this be acceptable?
Here is the villain Blackwater, who is composed of water. He also has the ability to teleport through water.
This one’s called “Deepspeaker”. I think it needs more glowy bits.
Meet the Pacific Siren:
Note: if the image is too inappropriate (she’s only wearing three shells), don’t count it.
Behold… THE WATOMANCER!!!!!!!!!!!
This type of mage relies on using water elements to defend herself from her enemies. Make her angry, and she’ll use her water elements against you. Enjoy.
Ok guys, this weeks contest is now closed. The poll will be up shortly.
