Character Design Contest ♯95 (Smells Like Team Spirit) Poll
This entry was posted in Challenge Favorites. Bookmark the permalink.
Y’know, I must be getting old and jaded, because I really didn’t care for any of the entries this week, including my own. Time for the good old Metamucil, I guess…
I liked “The Unknown Squad”, but then, I liked “The Doom Patrol”…
Seems as if everyone, myself included, likes Squadron 51, which does a better job of tying together the costumes.
I thought MadJack could have been a one man CDC this week. Each team was better than the last. In fact I would love to see him do a ‘How To’ on his Team Vanguard uniforms and on placing the Companion Dogs’ head on a torso.
@ Blunt Object: You’re too kind to me. And I like your team too – now stop brown-nosing, I’m ticklish (just kidding)… ^^
I don’t know about a “how to” since it’s actually just “a bit” masking, but I could post the text for the basic uniform in the forums if that helps. 😉
Hold the flipping’ phone. Where the hell did all these votes come from? The most we have ever gotten was 210 votes in a week and we’re usually luck to get over 150. But we’ve now got Nearly 300 votes, and it’s only Monday. Can someone please explain to me what’s going on?
Hi, I love the work of Madjack
The work of Blunt and PhasR are quite good but the work of Madjack is better
I followed the contest cause I want to participate for the next one
And in few minutes, The first one, PhasR, get itself to the last place then gradually returned to the first place and then kick in the place with a hudge gap
It’s weird and sad for a character contest to cheat, maybe everybody did….
Or maybe like it was been shared 1.2K times, a lot of people voted
Wow! This one is going to be close and all 5 entries are contenders! Only 5 vote difference between the top and bottom at the moment.
Sounds like the robots are taking over. Better check your firewall.
I smell shenanigans! There was only like 60 something votes yesterday, and now there are over 300? Whuuuuut, man? At least its a close one. Is this a total votes record?
@Nug- Yeah it is a record, by 170 votes. I would call shenanigans if one person was just running away with the vote, but it’s so close I don’t know.
I have a feeling there’s some kind of skullduggery afoot…
Now I’m followinf the contest and I’ve seen that …
And In less than 5 minutes Blunt earn 5 [votes]…
It weird ?
How strange. Are there even enough people on this site to justify 412 votes?
@Vectorman316- That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I do have the poll set up so people can vote for more than one person, but I also have it set up so that once you’ve voted you shouldn’t be able to vote again from the same I.P address. Now I haven’t tested it, I just assumed it worked, but after this I think I might have to have a look at it a bit more closely. Not that I mind the poll getting this much attention if I’m being honest, and at least it’s close.
Unfortunately the ip restriction is not as effective as it used to be, for example I can login in on 3 separate IP addresses while sitting right where I am now in my house. My homes Wifi, my Cell phone carrier, and there is an open Wifi hotspot in range of my home. Then If I went out and tried to find more places to login from I know of another 7 wifi hot spots within a 5 mile radius of my home, and that isn’t even counting the various unsecured home wifi networks you happen upon while out and about because some people do not bother to turn on the wireless routers security and allow unrestricted access to there homes internet connection.
