Character Design Contest ♯87- Time Travel

So, this'll be a fun one. I want you guys to create a time travelling character for me this week, in honour of the return of Doctor Who this coming Saturday. It doesn't matter how they travel through time (provided obviously that it isn't by TARDIS, because that's copyrighted) or, if you feel so inclined as to put them in a scene, where they end up, I just want to see some cool time travellers.

As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

The time travel doesn’t have to be on purpose, does it?

  2. Kaldath says:

JR is leaving on Vacation/Holiday as of today, and has asked me to guest judge this weeks contest. Having read his description for the contest he said it doesn’t matter on the method of time travel, so I will say no, it doesn’t matter if it was accidental or intentional.

@leonides11: Post your picture to a image sharing site, like Photobucket, Facebook ( if the image is set to public view), DeviantART, or our forums here on Then post a direct link to that image here in the comments of the contest. …… A direct link is a link to the picture without anything else on the page.

Hi there, here is my first attempt to the contest.
I thought that future-to-past time travellers were too common, so I switched the sides.
    From past to the future.

    Entry #2
    Miss Place
a time lady who picks up mementos from various when and wheres she’s been.

  14. cliff says:

OK, this little guy could arguably be considered something of a Time Traveler.
once he goes down the Rabbit Hole, he steps SIDEWAYS in time.

  15. Carmen says:

    Here’s another idea I had-

Time traveling gem thing and the owner that doesn’t quite know how to use it.

  16. Linea24 says:

    My entry, Warp:

    Name: Unknown
    Aliases: Warp
    Age: Unknown
    Alignment: Neutral
    Associations: none
    Powers/Skills: Magic, time-space manipulation
In the Astra Universe, humans are naturally immune to first-hand magic. This also means that, normally, a human cannot directly use magic. But, as with most things, there are exceptions. Rarely, a human will be able to directly use magic as effectively as a fairy. Warp is an example of said humans.
Warp was a mage in her original time of the Medieval Age. She was performing experiments on the extent of her abilities when something strange happened. A odd vortex opened up, and sucked her inside, granting her the ability to manipulate time and space. Two unfortunate side effects though, was one: the complete wipeout of all her memories of her past and her identity; and two: immunity to the effects of time on her body.
Through much trial and error, Warp has built herself a working map of the existing timeline. But sometimes, this map fails her, and she has to find a way to fix it. Although, it can be said that in her earlier ventures, she would mess up the timeline out of pure curiosity.
