Thanks for the nod JR.
Go Cliffy Go!!
Bravo dude
Yup.. Great Job
Voting for the best!
I went from a 14 vote lead yesterday to a 7 vote deficit today. I’m becoming the Susan Lucci of Heromachine! lol
Awww. I am sorry for you, but can’t lie, kinda happy for me. I won’t lie those when I say yours I said $h!T, That is gonna be hard to beat
lol-thanks Cliff!
Wow those are some great creations
djuby, let me be the first to congratulate you.
Marie is awesome and while I would have loved to win, I’m glad she did if I didn’t.
But it was close heh heh
@Cliff- It has been brought to my attention that during this weeks poll, you were canvasing for votes via Facebook. Whilst I can’t stop anyone doing this (and I am pretty sure it has happened before, though as far as I’m aware not since I started hosting the votes) and it is nice to get new people onto the site, I would prefer it if people refrained from doing such things, as it does call into question the validity of the poll. Back when we did the Post-Apocalyptic contest we had this whole argument about why we do the poll, best art versus best suited for the category, but having one contestant canvasing for votes, behind everyone else’s back (and lets be honest, we probably wouldn’t have found out if your friends hadn’t made it so obvious), does make the poll unfair and takes it from being about either best art or best suited to “who can get more of their friends to vote for them” and personally, that doesn’t sit right with me. It was suggested that I either declare this poll void, which I won’t do as it is unfair on the other contestants, or that I deal out some sort of punishment, which I will not because, as I said earlier, I am sure this sort of thing has happened before and has gone unpunished.
HOWEVER, I WANT EVERYONE TO CONSIDER THIS A WARNING. IF I FIND OUT ANYONE HAS BEEN GAINING UNFAIR ADVANTAGE BY VOTE CANVASING ON SOCIAL MEDIA THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES, whether this be disqualification from contests or other sanctions. I try to keep these votes as fair as possible, lets not bring this sort of thing into them ok.
Hey JR and everyone
I rallyaplogize/
I really thought that everyone usually did it.
I won’t lie. I have always hated the Poll, cause I figured with being able to vote nce a day and that people did canvas for votes, I wondered how truly fair they were. Always perfered having one judge, alhough they you do just have just one point of veiw. Wondered how rotating judges would work. The winner of one week picking he next weeks winner.
The only reason I did it this week, was how strongly I felt about Hanae, my Geisha.
I am totally capable of even voting for someone else if I think it’s better than mine.
As I knew my National Heroes, were good, but clearly not the best. I wasn’t surprise I didn’t make the poll.
And I’m glad Carrie and Bre responded on post, cause I wasn’t trying to hide anything, as I said, just thought that’s how it went.
I promise I wasn’t trying to pull anything, or create any stir or sensation.
BUT, knowing it’s a no-no. I promise I won’t do it again.
