This week I want you guys to create an awesome brute character. I want to see big muscles and huge feats of strength. It can be a hero or villain, golden, silver or modern age style, just make it good.
As per usual, no limits on entries this week, the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: http://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

Maddie O’Hara, a fitness instructor by trade, is naturally strong. What makes her a superhero is the four-leaf clover she wears. It’s been passed down in her family for generations and grants the bearer both superhuman strength and invulnerability when needed. Maddie calls this ability “luck” powers. In the picture above she’s just defeated a giant robot made of cars.
“Break” was an ordinary terminal brain cancer patient until an experimental implant eradicated his malignancy, boosted his adrenal gland to superhuman levels, turned his skin a peculiar bright yellow, hardened his body to metallic levels, lowered his metabolic requirements to rodent levels–
–and messed with his head a little bit . . .
1. Quake- Corrie Toren was an up-and-coming model and actress on her way to a movie premiere when tragedy struck. A glowing red meteor hit the ground directly in front of her and shattered. Her bodyguard (and brother), Trevor, took the brunt of it, but a large shard lodged itself in Corrie’s eye, giving her increased size, strength, and massive durability. It also drove her mad. She now calls herself Quake, taking whatever she wants through force of strength.
2. Tremor- Trevor Toren, having received similar powers to his sister, at the cost of several glowing, red crystals fused to his arm and back, was recruited by the government as an enforcer against super-powered threats, including Corrie. Every now and again he finds himself taking out an old picture of them together, remembering better times.
Demolition and Crew
I may have misunderstood the category…
Go easy on me okay, I am not a background type of guy most of the time. I tried to go outside of my box a little on this one. In this picture there was a marie that thought it was a good idea to pick on whoever was riding the girly bike out back of the bar. He didn’t realize it was a big biker and that his chopper was in the shop. LOL
Marine not marie! D@#! you auto correct!
Sometimes it is very handy to have a strong friend – especially on MOVING DAY … 😉
Morningstar, a gold-skinned villain who is nigh invulnerable and superstrong
Crusher, a brute with a big hammer
A more serious entry – Ibex
Ok guys, this weeks contest is closed. The poll will be up shortly.
