Minecraft Steve is Back with A Beard He also polished his shoes but was unable to properly tie his shirt. For the first time in ten years, iconic Minecraft (opens in new tab) default skin/character Steve has a beard again thanks to the most recent update to Minecraft's upcoming version. The skins for both the default Steve and Alex characters in the beta launcher now have minor tweaks to the texture that can make a significant difference. Steve now has, once again that iconic beard. rolled up or cuffed sleeves and a little more color definition on important areas like the arms, shoes, and chest. Maybe they've just shined the sleeves. STRONGCRAFT.ORG It's difficult to determine with all that mining dust. Alex, meanwhile, has the same sleeve-cuffs as Alex, along with more contrasting colors on most of their clothing. Alex's hair is highlighted due to its layering and its depth. The multi-year global pandemic has been rough for everyone. A lot of people thought that this was a key time to grow a beard since they weren't leaving their homes or doing anything. This includes, it seems, Minecraft Steve. Is that a canon or something? It's not. I came up with it. Steve's beard first disappeared in 2009, 13 years ago, which was long before Alex even appeared on the scene. Despite this, the beard was still visible in official artwork. The show even came to life when they inserted Steve into Super Smash Brothers. Welcome back, beardy Steve. The fans are excited.
