Minecraft: Java Edition 1.19.1 Is Out We are now releasing 1.19.1 Minecraft: Java Edition. This release adds Allay duplication and new Player Safety functionality. This update can also be found on minecraft.net. Added Allay Duplication Tweaked Sculk Catalysts Chat Trust status - Added Preview of New Chat Options Reporting of Added Players Allays will dance to a Record in a Jukebox If the Allay is given an Amethyst Shard during dancing, it will duplicate Duplication has a 5-minute cooling off Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP, instead of 20. The chat scrollbar has been moved to the right A colored indicator is used to indicate the signing status of a chat message being typed. If chat preview has been used, the indicator will be to the left from the chat input box or to its left from the chat preview. When the message is signed, the indicator will turn blue Chat Preview is enabled, and the indicator will turn orange. A preview is currently being signed The background of the chat preview will also display slightly faded when a preview is waiting to be signed Added a warning to the toast when connecting with a server that doesn’t enforce secure messaging The Social Interactions screen now has entries for players who recently saw messages at the top. Messages that are not signed with the Secure Chat system, or have been tampered with by the server will now be marked Messages with missing or invalid signatures are marked as "Not Secure" Modified messages are marked with "Modified" The trust status of messages are displayed with both a colored indicator and an icon The colored indicator is always visible The icon is only visible when the chat screen is open Clicking on the icon will reveal more information about the trust status Modified messages will display the original secure text in the tooltip. System messages (nonplayer chat, such command output) are displayed in gray with a color indicator Added "When Sending" Chat Preview option for updating chat previews only when attempting to send a message To confirm the sending of a message, you will need to hit the Enter/Return key again The "ON" setting was renamed to "While Typing". When the chat preview is in "While Typing", it will not display previews of the message if it has not been modified by server. Chat Preview is now available in singleplayer. This will display when you use selector substitutions like /say Previewed hover events, click events, and other events are highlighted with a solid backdrop Reporting players who send abusive messages in chat is now possible. To provide the best context for our moderators to take appropriate action, a reporter will need to select the messages in chat that contain the offensive content. This is accessed via the social interactions screen. Multiple chat messages can be selected for reporting Additional chat messages relating to this selection will also serve to provide context to our moderation teams You can choose the category from a list called Report Categories The Report Categories screen contains a "Learn about Reporting" button. This button links to a help article. If you have been banned from online play, the game will show a notice screen at startup The reason for the suspension and how long it has been in effect are shown. A message that has been processed by the Java Realms Profanity Filter is now marked with a yellow marker If a chat messages they have sent has not been fully filtered by one or more Realm players, players will be notified. Chat input boxes will not apply to custom fonts with negative advances or glyphs that have advanced beyond 32. Chat types added to the chat_types registry are now only used for player chat, and not system messages The game_info and system chat types were removed Chat types have been simplified and are now only required to define chat and narration decorations Chat types don't support overlays anymore Instead, you should use a system message to display overlays The msg_command chat type was split into msg_command_incoming & msg_command_outgoing The team_msg_command chat type has been split apart into team_msg_command_incoming and team_msg_command_outgoing The team_name chat type parameter was renamed to target This chat type parameter is now used in msg_command_outgoing The run_command command click event for text elements no longer supports sending chat message directly. Only commands can be supported This means that values should always be /prefixed Commands like /say that produces a signed chat message for a player are not allowed Instead, use /tellraw jukebox_play jukebox_stop_play The order of chat messages are now cryptographically verified This is used by Player Reports to validate the context in chat messages enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag Servers can create their own auto-completion options to allow regular chat via a new packet. Through a new packet, custom servers can hide player chat messages. This does not remove chat messages from chatlogs. More More than 50 bugs were fixed in this release. The issue tracker has a complete list. To install the release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and click play! Make sure your Launcher is set to the "Latest Release" option.
