So if your like me, your not the best at making good/attractive faces (esp. on woman). Now there are a few good pre-made faces you can use, but they’ve already been used a lot by others. This tutorial will guide you through modifying those faces so you can have both a unique character and a good looking one (if you have any questions, or I left out a piece somewhere please let know).

As a supplement to this very good tutorial, I should first point out that this is the same principle to be used in modifying Companions and, in theory, any other item that is ‘close enough’ to what you want instead of building it new.

Second, I should probably add the generic art advice of facial ratios: eyes center about halfway down the skull, nose about halfway from eyes to chin, and mouth halfway from nose to chin. Roughly 7-8 heads to the height of an adult, usually the forehead and cheekbones are about 8 knuckles wide if it’s in the same plane.

I always have/had trouble w/faces, as the heads always looked a tad too small, and the mouths for the male characters never seemed to fit imo. I didn’t know there were work-arounds like this for m/f heroes, so thanks!
