Powers: Proportionate strength and speed of a monitor lizard, claws, venomous bite, powerful tail, forked tongue (vomeronasal system), ectothermic physiology.
Details/Limitations: Aside from enhanced strength and speed; there are two glands in his jaw which secrete toxins that cause blood clotting, lowering of blood pressure, muscle paralysis, and the induction of hypothermia, leading to shock and loss of consciousness in prey; his tail is strong enough to crush a grown man and obliterate wooden objects; his tongue can detect scents from up to 9.5km (6mi) away. Additionally, his ectothermic physiology forces him to spend several hours basking in the sun (or tanning booth/terrarium) each day.
