CDC #406 – Post Apocalyptic Warriors – Female Edition

Your challenge this week is to create a totally bad@$$ female post apocalyptic warrior character.

You may enter up to three times

This week’s winner will receive a HM3 rendering of their winning character, designed by me.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. Please keep all submissions PG13: full or partial nudity is prohibited. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. Only post characters that have been created solely using Hero Machine, and that you know for certain have never been entered in a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShack, Deviant Art or whatever);Do not use Photobucket.

  • Entries must be made as a comment or comments to this post, containing a link directly to the image and the character name;
  • No copyrighted characters please – they will be deleted.
  • Please name your filesas [your name]-[character name].[file extension] before you upload it. So DiCicatriz, for instance, would save his “Bayou Belle” character image as DiCicatriz-BayouBelle.png.

Please make the link go directly to the image (like this) and not to a hosting jump page (like this).

This contest will close at 9am Eastern on Sunday, March 24th.

    First timer here.
Can I introduce you to Raven?
Her real name is Karasu Tanaka. She is one of the Siazon-sha; a Japanese survivor of the Mega-Fuji Event.

  2. Yamá Oþûruz Àtl, the Shadow-Behind-the-Lights says:

Allow me to introduce you to Sweet Lorraine.

It has been decades since she’s heard the wail of a baby, or even the bubbly voice of a child. Humanity had suddenly become infertile and most people had underestimated the dire effects it would have on the world stage. Economies collapsed, unable to sustain an ageing population. Riots, coups and other tragedies struck as humankind realised it had lost a kind of immortality it had taken for granted for so long. Not enough hands to plough the fields. Not enough manpower to mantain dams and nuclear power plants. Civilisation collapsed.
Sweet Lorraine became no stranger to violence; slavers had taken her to force her to care for older, powerful (yet at the same time, powerless) warlords. Now she is free, but almost alone in a hostile world.

  3. M H says:

OK. Here’s #2. Different setting. The Chainsaw Priestess.

  4. kellkin says:

She is a member of an all female clan called The Ravagers, a group of vigilantes that rob and kill anyone they come across.

  5. Joe Carr says:

Here’s my entry for this weeks contest. I call her Hera, Warrior Queen of the Apocalypse:

  6. superfly30 says:

Nobody knows her real name, they just know her as the “Woman of the Wasteland”. A mysterious figure with no home. Why does she help those who are preyed upon in these desperate times? Is she a catalyst to bring us back to our humanity and rebuild all that was lost?

  8. Xinmodic says:

    Number 1

Wasteland Pyro, names are a thing of the pass in the Wasteland, only titles remain. For this one individual “The Pyro” is the perfect descriptor. Even after being put through the same tourment she gives others she continues her “mission” to finish off this “burning world”.

  9. Xinmodic says:

The Wasteland Beasts: Nuclear explosions can cause some weird side affects. One of which are the monstrous, brainless, brutes of “people”. The new “Weapons of War” these Beasts are sold in anonymous biddings, were individual wastelanders come and look at the goods before making purchases on these fighting machines.

  10. Yamá Oþûruz Àtl, the Shadow-Behind-the-Lights says:

Second Submission: Uxue the Bounty Hunter

From Gipuzkoa to Nafarroa, no wanted man nor woman is safe from Uxue. The former Basque Country is now home to a host of competing clans, but she owes loyalty to none. Or to all. All Euskaldunak are her tribe, even though she was born among the barbarians of the Ugatz Clan. She brings Peace-Breakers to justice, willing to be executioner when required… or if she dislikes the criminal enough.

I tried to post an entry about a half hour ago, but I don’t see it showing up. Did you see anything show up on your end? I’m not sure what happened, but if I made a mistake and didn’t post properly in time for the entry to be counted, I’m okay with it that. I just wanna make sure that I know where I went wrong so as not to repeat the error
